Be great to see more enhancements of this kind for default aircraft. But hopefully, as we've seen with the TBM and CJ4, Asobo (or its partners) will revisit and refresh their fleet and we won't necessarily need such addons.

I absolutely love this mod, just hope the dev extends it to other liveries!. And I did donate to the dev. Happy to pay for this quality!
All exising liveries are compatible as long as they do not overwrite models & panels (there's a entry in the faq on the mod page)
Execption with the liveries provided by asobo with the 172 (kenmore, and the awfull xbox & msfs ones : they have their own 3D model). But they could be redone as normal liveries

@@danielconlon2388 xbox can only use mods from the ingame market and even though a freeware section exists, application is so long & complex that nobody wants to go through it.

Birds flying in V-pattern really pushed this video to the top.
Is that from an add-on, or is that a part of Standard MSFS?
I am currently using WB-Sim for C172 enhancement.
The plus is that it works on the steam version, the minus is that it doesn't actually look as nice as this one.
The birds are part of the airport scenery from Burning Blue Design

That's how it's done!
Meanwhile there still are devs charging twenty to thirty dollars for mods that are nowhere near this and other good freeware options in terms of quality and attention to detail.
P.S. Could you please share your Tobii settings as I find it difficult to operate stuff inside the cockpit while tracking is on - my camera just keeps moving all the time. Maybe I need better settings, maybe I just can't keep my head/eyes in one place while also using the mouse.

Can I use other liveries since it’s just an overhaul of a pre-existing plane or is a brand new plane and it requires liveries for its own?
Last time I checked it wasn’t compatible with third party liveries.

It looks like a great mod but I can't get it to show. Any ideas what might prevent it from working? I disabled any other mods and also the PMS750 but same problem.

New to MSFS and seeking assistance with the Mod - have downloaded it - do I then unzip and then put what is unzipped straight into the Community folder ? If so are we talking the "bagolu-c172-patch_jvLeD" folder or the subfolder "bagolu-c172-patch". Thanks to anyone who can assist.
Put the sub-folder in your community folder.

I've never understood why people are sooo fascinated about visual details like wheel fairings, fuselage features etc. They're like cool for 1 second. Who sits and look at them for hours??? How boring! I'm here to *fly* an airplane and look out the front window!! Now, that's what matters!
This has been out almost a year, lol. Recently updated with a few additions but most of the features have been there since day one. Late to the party on this one.
Yes, but now the weight and other actions/features are built into the improved flight model. Big difference.

I would call it enhanced rather than study level, not to the extent of Black Square for example, but that is systems only and payware.
