I could tell watching the sped-up versions that you were really working hard and doing a quality job... this is my first time watching one of your "unedited" versions, and, WOW, that really shows the amount of time and effort it takes to clear those beaver mounds! In my opinion you are the best manual dam buster on CZcams. Post 10 and Terrell Spivey could and should watch and learn. Post 10 on every video he makes berates either an Engineer or an Equipment Operator because apparently he is better qualified. Neither one of the previously mentioned men go to the extreme of removing the dams. Both of them from what I have seen, only remove about 50% at best. Keep up the truely great work ethic. You and your wife(?) are a very good team.

Another great video! By the time the dam was completely dismantled there wasn’t much water left to flow. I kept watching the level quickly drop in the background. If the excavator could have traveled into that area it would have taken minutes. 😊
As a rule, the excavator takes longer to travel to the site than to remove the dam 😁

Among those busting beaver dams, you (plural) are alone in removing the entire dam; standing O! It is much more interesting to watch as opposed to cutting a slot down the middle where the momma beaver sends the kids over to practice and repair it overnight.
1:02 - Gotta be at least a 1.5m drop in water level.
In fact, most only remove the middle of the dam. But they may not get paid for it, as I do🙂

Do the dams have to be removed for a reason? I realise it’s caused flooding but has it caused a problem? Here in the U.K. we are re introducing the beaver in specific areas. Fascinating to watch

@@msTECH86 I thought there must have been property nearby. The ones in the U.K. are very remote and it’s being trialed at the moment. It’s to create wetland habitat and actually prevent floods further downstream. We’ve yet to see if it will be a success 🙂

Are beaver dams a major problem in your location? I don't live near a waterway small enough to dam by beavers, so I don't think there are many around here. Most of the people who post videos on beaver dams seem to be from your country, Ukraine, Canada, and many areas in the Northern midwest of the United States. I live in the southeastern
In Poland alone, there are over 100,000 beavers, so for a medium-sized country, there are a lot of them. In most of the country, beavers do not occur, but wherever they settle, they are very numerous and multiply very dynamically, which is why they are quite a problem in these areas.
I don't know about the United States, but they are numerous in Central and Eastern Europe🦫🦫
