About my work - I remove beaver dams when I receive an order from a state organization.
I do not choose which dam to remove. It is decided by officials at the request of nearby residents. Each dam is assessed in advance if it can and if should be dismantled.
Removing the dam is not a threat to beavers. I do not remove their houses - lodges.
Dams are removed only in places where beavers cause damage, for example by flooding nearby fields, flooding the basements of nearby houses, or when the stream on which beavers built their dam is degraded.
Even though beavers are very invasive animals, they are under strict protection in our country.
I personally like all animals, so beavers are fine too.

Nice job again, especially at last the view of the see through the pipe was very nice, so we could see what the result of your hard work was.
In general, it was hard for me to position the camera to show what I was doing well, so the shot from the camera on my head may be more reflective of what I was doing.

That was a laborious effort on that job, and you did great opening it all the way, Maciej! I was a bit nervous when you crawled inside to reach the rest of the clog! Especially being out there alone! You deserve an adult libation and a hot soaking bath after that one!

Having watched few of your `manual dam removal´ clips already, I really like this one as kind of perfect example wrt your “get it done right & completely” working mindset 👍!
Was quite a load of mud piling up inside the culvert in front of this huge amount of sticks our `wet friends´ 🦫have dragged into the pipe. Luckily diameter was still large enough that you’ve been able to use both rake and spade.

Wowww…Nice intro and great new posting. This might be the smallest if not the only culvert of this type you’ve worked on that I remember! At about 50: when I could no longer see you, I enlarged the iPad screen to see you were fully inside the culvert. Scary….and what amazing resolve of the beavers to completely plug up the whole pipe! Maciej, this almost took me right to lunch…😂 Waiting for the head camera view…😵💫 Now back to second coat of drywall sealer in the laundry room. Beavers are so inteligent! They realised that when they just block the entrance to the culvert, the dam is easy to remove so they ended up blocking the inside. Amasing.

There were no fights directly in the area where I live, but of course there are remnants of the occupation. I live in Lower Silesia, so these are reclaimed areas - overall, it's a bit of a long but interesting history of our region. The most interesting place, not so far from me, is the Riese complex in the Owl Mountains - I recommend reading and watching various films, it is a really interesting place.

No, I never thought about it. So far, we have only used such equipment when renovating old retaining walls in streams, when we needed an unflooded place to work.
This one was one of the worst I've seen you do. Exhausting work, you kept at it good job.
It wasn't easy, but fortunately, all the work was done safely and successfully.
