      Smiler and Oblivion have the best ops icl, on my 3rd ride on smiler the dude who would let people into the station would joke around with the people taking longer to get to the front of the queue, and on my most recent ride on oblivion the dude in the RAP queue seen is been on Nemesis and asked how it was 😭😭😭

    Sounds like it's just oblivion? As she said, smiler uses a hybrid so it wouldn't be a problem there, I believe?
    It could be other coasters there, but it sounds like only some of them do

      Smiler doesn't have enough space in the depot

      Hard wheels still flat spot, it’s worse actually since when hard wheels develop a small flat spot they can’t smoothen themselves out like softer wheels can

    Just wondering. Didn't they make a rule that you could take pictures freely but not any videos?

      They did indeed on paper. I think it came down to what the staff were happy with at the time. If you look at the short i posted of me removing my padlock. You will hear a staff member ask if i would like them to hold my phone for me. I think after the feedback they received on the first experience new rules were made and staff given discretion. We were told it was up to the leader of the tour to say when and where we could film and photo however no holding phones on the steps going up or coming down.

    because of them people that snook in at night???

  • @teacher555555
    @teacher555555 Před 2 měsíci +33

    a nice story but the real reason is because there are people who go around each and every day after the park closes and before it opens the next day inspecting every ride for safety issues on the ride and they cant do that if the roller coaster trains are still on the tracks.

      It’s a true story, the flat spots on the wheels can cause roughness a bit like what happens on a scooter after a load of skidding. The weight is taken off the train in storage. It’s also an opportunity for maintenance

    • @teacher555555
      @teacher555555 Před měsícem +1

      @@HushHushFamily its more about maintenance than anything because you can see for yourself. the trains being in the station under a roof where they are protected from the elements or stored out in the open where they will get rained, snowed, sunshine, hailed, etc. on depending on the weather for the day.

    • @HushHushFamily
      @HushHushFamily Před měsícem +9

      @@teacher555555 i can assure you that it is 100% about flat spots on the wheels.

    • @teacher555555
      @teacher555555 Před měsícem

      @@HushHushFamily and i can tell you that its not. if it is then this is the only form of braking for the station they have and that is pretty dangerous because looking at some of those wheels being outside when its raining makes the soft wheels almost useless when you have water from one train to another moving over the wheels over and over again.

    • @HushHushFamily
      @HushHushFamily Před měsícem +5

      @@teacher555555 I can assure you that it is. Simple checks are sufficient daily rather than daily maintenance, however if any train is left in the station flat spots can appear on the wheels

    Wow you really need to learn how to hold a phone while somebody is talking if you're going to film it cuz all's I heard was your hands moving...
    But on to the subject of the video, cedar point would remove the trains from Blue streak and mean streak there two wooden coasters every night they would park them on the transfer tracks and then the next morning they would transfer them back on, the park I used to work at Knoebels in Pennsylvania they would leave the Phoenix parked on the lift with one train and the second train was parked on the far brake run... In the morning we would move the far break run train to the transfer table for inspection since it had a lot of open site ports and then we would swap the trains out move the train from the lift into the station parked the other train on the lift and repeat
