The bus took a diversion on the Sandbrook Estate. The right turn can be very tight when using the 67 reg gold buses on the route at St James Church / Tollemache Road. During the daytime there is a short 38 as well between West Kirby and Croft Retail and Leisure Park.
Once the bus leaves the A41 at Bromborough Pool it snakes its way to Eastham Ferry. Its not the quickest route from Bromborough or Mill Park to Birkenhead. That falls to the 1 X1 41 or 42.
Planning to go on this route soon, get the 22 from Chester to West Kirby, wait 35 minutes, get the 38 to Eastham Village Road then get a 1/X1 back to Chester

Bidston station seems an ill-advised place to put a bus stop, as you have a rather busy road similar to a dual carriageway and it appears quite difficult to rejoin the main flow of traffic.

@@martinlloyd8866 at one point they also ran the 22 West Kirby to Chester and a couple of local routes which are now in the hands of other operators.

You should do the 38A aswell, and the 41/42 from Eastham Rake to Arrowe Park Hospital via Birkenhead Bus Station and Rock Ferry Depot
