These dedicated Gold vehicles have recently found there way onto all of Rock Ferry routes at some point now. These dedicated Gold buses are much better than the other Gold Double deckers at Rock Ferry.
Same when they had the Gold Enviro 300's on Liverpool to Chester routes. The Gold 300's ended up on all the routes. The Gold 400s are far better than the Volvo Wright Hybrids Arriva use on the same shared route.
Oh what a disappointment - I had thought that "gold" might mean three seats across or other actually useful features. We will have to wait for Sir Brian to be a bit more generous!
A few things annoy me about Stagecoach firstly they ditched the GOLD brand completely yet will never ever change the GOLD interior they also switched from Scania as the gold spec to these Cheap awful adl Rubbish so this is basically just polishing a a turd as the suspension is not up to scania standards The gold spec was great and now they don’t even make gold interior anymore Great video though
@@EurasiaTransportExplorer in this area the Gold buses are sadly being repackaged into the Local livery . What a come down. I do like that Yellow Interurban Livery though.
The GOLD livery was one of the best in the country I think it was a Ray Stenning design I was a GOLD driver on the TORQUAY-PLYMOUTH route (which is called GOLD still?🤣) but the difference was GOLD drivers had a different uniform and were like special drivers with a better class of driving and customer service and training well that’s what it was meant to be so now they just have gold interior but no Gold it’s ridiculous and shows what a joke that company is I hope the new German owner does an huge overhaul of this company

Sad that Stagecoach Gold buses are gradually getting repainted into Stagecoach’s new Amber livery.

The old metallic blue with gold livery makes the bus looks more elegant than Amber Interurban.
