Hobart 13” Heavy Duty Automatic/Manual Meat & Cheese Deli Slicer. **NEWER MODEL** Features include: Burnished aluminum base, with a lift assist feature that allows users to easily lift front of slicer for cleaning and maintenance. Unit comes with a powerful ½ h.p. motor, with a 4 speed, 3 stroke automatic operation, that can easily handle continuous slicing of meats and cheeses. Slicer has a CleanCut 13” knife that is made from a wear-resistant alloy which can stay sharper and last two or three times longer than carbon coated or stainless steel knives. (Knife/blade is very sharp). (1) Removable top mounted knife sharpener. Easy to use front mounted digital controls. Removable carriage system with exclusive tilting, and home position starting. Unit comes with a heavy gauge stainless steel knife cover. Unit has a zero-exposure knife design and a no volt release system that requires the slicer be restarted if the power fails. It also includes a home to start mechanism that prevents the machine from running when not in a start position, and an auto-off feature that turns the unit off after 30 seconds of non-usage. The close-to-stop feature turns off the slicer automatically when the gauge plate is closed, and the gauge plate interlock will prevent removal of the carriage arm unless the plate is closed and the machine is in home position. This slicer runs very smoothly and is in excellent condition.
