How much dispatch equipment do I need if I drive my own box truck and self dispatch. I'm thinking a laptop, a phone, legal pads, maybe a portable printer. Of course, I will buy you course to get the knowledge I need. I'm considering buying both the Box truck course and both dispatch courses. : )

Honestly, I would say yes, and only because some states take long to send you your Articles of Organization which is what you’ll need to open a business bank account, and that is essential. Some states give you an option to expedite it, but I’d rather be safe and get it.
You absolutely can, and I speak about that in another video, but let me give you an example where a scanner/fax will be useful. Sometimes certain brokers require a scanned copy of a BOL vs a photo. In that circumstance the driver would take the BOL, and scan it to you themselves (unless of course they live relatively close to you then they can bring it to you physically). This is just one example. You don’t necessarily need it but as you grow, your use of it will become more necessary.
As an independent dispatcher, do I need an MC number also to start up my business? Someone help me please. I have the LLC, EIN , and I registered for the MC number but somehow I feel lost concerning this authority thing . please help me throw more light on this whole issue. Am just a beginner who wants to start up something for my self.( independent dispactcher). I will be following in the comments. Thank you.

Absolutely you can! You just have to get familiar with the geography of the United States. Also, you may want to connect with a business professional who can assist you in establishing your business set up abroad!

This is honestly subjective. I personally prefer MAC, but whatever is more user friendly for you. Just pick one that has a good memory, and a high speed processor.

LLC tax is $800 per year in California. I think I'm just going to operate as a sole proprietor without an LLC while I get started.

Yes when you got your LLC they should have emailed you your “Articles of Organization”
You can get an EIN from irs.gov for free never pay for that.
