Friendly advice to fellow dispatchers, DO NOT BOOK LOADS WITH TQL a day in advance, they will 99% cancel the load on the day that your driver is supposed to pick it up, leaving you stranded and in need to look for a a new one. "Their customer canceled the load", but in reality they just found someone who would take it for less, hence they will earn more. Worst brokers ever.
YES! This is 100% true!
they are the worst of the worst. dont haul for them period. Their scum
As someone who used to work for TQL, that is 100000000% not true. That is incredibly bad for business between a broker and a customer. If we can keep a carrier on a load, we will
I work for a factoring company and our carriers used to use TQL a lot. I noticed I don't see them as much anymore.
Thank you for the advice
Thanks a lot for this invoice info, besides you put great info for owner operator that are starting dispatching themselves you have a great charisma and attitude. Thanks again.God bless you
I never have to ask you any questions on your videos, because you nail it every time. You are beautiful inside & out !
Thank You......
I love how u articulate the role of being a dispatcher. Vital info. Not boring at all
Your videos are super helpful and your method of telling is amazing much appreciated.
Goodmorning this is my first video i watched dispatching. Very informational looking to start my company up this week.
I stumbled across your videos studying to get my CDLP. I usually don't comment but seeing how much effort and information you put into each one kept me coming back to learn more. It wasn't until I saw that you invoiced Phillip J. Fry, from Futurama,, that I decided to subscribe. Thank you for all that you do and all the info you provide. Your nerdiness and clear and detailed nature of talking and explaining things are greatly appreciated.
The best video I've seen on dispatching. I will purchase the course.
very clear and simple. appreciate your time and effort. great info in simple and orderly fashion.
Thank you so much for this video. This was one of the best videos. Very easy to follow and understand. Clear steps , great follow on being able to follow along. Helping my son start his owner operator trucking company in which I will be doing dispatching. So this was very very helpful. Thank you

Thanks for your providing so much useful information
Print out packet with signature are more likely requested with flatbed trailers but it rarely happens.
Your dispatching is quite different to mine. I work for a firm which deals primarily with national distribution, our cargo is quite mixed (pallets and packets) of multiple clients to multiple consignees. Our contracts are primarily express delivery (within 24 hours), but we dont do same day delivery. We deliver to businesses for the most part. We work with like 8 contractors, use 5-6 trucks and 7-9 delivery vans every day. Each day I dispatch from data we get from all our clients and partners, which consists of like 350-650 shipments to various locations in my country.
BTW, that 'factor' check mark is only if the broker is factoring through OTR, NOT factoring in general.
Great videos, thank you for your help!
Thank you for this helpful information
Super helpful. Thank you!
Your videos have been so helpful! Thank you so much! I have been driving for 24 years and now of all times decided to get my own authority and truck. I will be pulling a flat bed. A little nervous with todays markets though.
◽🔝🔝⤴ msg for guide
You've got this! The market will go up and down always. Just make sure you have a safety cushion because when just starting, your expenses will outweigh your income in the very beginning.
If you need a dispatcher and just want to drive.. LMK

I plan to work for a broker and do the dispatching as a separate service.

Hello, what kind of company you used for ELD?

Good video, im just a driver but, What about dividing miles by 50 mph for the fringing driver so he has time to make on time delivery. I was expected to drive 600ish miles after I already was 4 hrs into my 14hr clock. I'm a driver and I don't know alot about dispatching.
Is it possible to work a full time job and dispatch at the same time
Where will I find contract examples to use in my journey/
Did you have dispatching course or did you have any course suggestions?
I love your videos
You are too smart.
With the app do you get the 15day market rate?
I just started (2 weeks almost) my dispatch company with a few friends.
Since it's just the start, it becomes so annoying sometimes when calling carriers to ask them to work with us. I tried finding some best paying loads around $3/m and more but they didn't take it.
Some drivers/carriers talk so rudely that it breaks my heart. Like hey bro, if you don't wanna work, at least be polite when refusing rather than abusing profanities.
Can you please guide me what am i doing wrong when reaching them (carrier) out?
I've tried most of the psychological techniques used to acquire a hot lead.
My wife is looking to get into freight dispatching, would you be able to recommend schooling to become certified? If that’s a thing? Just looking up info so I can help her get started
What are your thoughts on independent dispatchers calling shippers on behalf of their owner operators?
Do all our most carriers have cargo ins?
One question. I'm a US citizen who is overseas at the moment. Can I still do this job?
Hey thank you for all the work you do! Very helpful information all on your page. I have a question about the carrier package. If I’m looking to just start a dispatching service business, will I need to fill out separate packets for each driver using their MC and DOT # for every owner/operator I dispatch for? Thank you again for your help
Yes, you do
Which quickbooks are you referring to?
tell me please what kind of insurance do i need for this job?
what companies are beginner friendly? our mcn is only 90 days old, most won't work with us :(
Why does a dispatcher need to sign the rate conf?
If and when things improve, will brokers care if I'm making money? Will brokers care if shippers bought own truck and hired driver?
How do I find contact info to haul for your family business ! I have 28 years experience - I pull loads for TQL for a long time and there practice has not change to cancal your load just before you pick load , spend your time and fuel to pick up load tql don’t care ! You will not get paid for your lost time or fuel!!!
Hi! Where do I find your course?
What to do if invoice is over due
Futurama reference? instant like.
(video also contains useful information, thank you!)
Excellent
that s awesome

What are the back office services
Can Anybody help me to find a truck Dispatcher job?
So you don’t need to take a class for dispatching. ?
Thank you for the content, all good information. I have a question, how do you suggest for someone starting in the business to get references?
When you haul loads, make sure to keep the list of brokers, names and phone numbers as a reference. TQL cannot be used as a ref though
Good day I'm a owner operator out of Ga I pay $350 every week until it's paid off I want to know could I make that truck my business while I'm still making truck payment plz help thank you
Thank you 🙏
I was impressed with how thorough you were and I am interested in your dispatching course. Could I inquire of the course more before I pay for it?
Absolutely! Send me an email at talkabouttrucking@gmail.com
@@TruckingMadeSuccessful how much is the course and time frame
Thank you.
I love you. That is all.
Thanks for this video. For the Rate Cons and Broker Agreements, does the dispatcher sign their name or their carrier’s name?
If you have a power of attorney from the carrier, you will sign your carriers name.
first of I want to thank you for your videos, you are very helpful. My question is, are you factoring? If so, what factory do you recommend?
I factor some loads and I use RTS :)
why are you invoicing the broker? I thought you were invoicing the carrier?
How many customers do you need to make a living?
Being a dispatcher is more than accepting loads, always remember.
You know and shocked in a way how fast the pay CH ROBINSON with 5 hrs after I summited the invoice via email on my phone and convoy as well
I am wondering what are the working hours for a truck dispatcher. I suppose truck dispatchers have to make themselves available 24/7 in case there are emergencies like truck mechanical problems, various kinds of issues in the process of loading or unloading a truck, etc.
I would appreciate if someone with experience could comment on that. Thanks for a very positive attitude throughout the video!
You set your own schedule and you take on only what you can handle. I recommend trying no more than 3 to start until your comfortable to handle the loads and load boards. I was blessed, I happen to have found some drivers that were looking for a dispatcher and I only dealt with those two, until I was comfortable enough to handle it. I also found that late night, early morning on Thursday I was able to get my driver's set up for the week ahead. Yes there's ups n downs to this business you have to find what works for you and build from there.
Hello, does your course show you how you use quickbooks for invoicing?
It does not show it through quickbooks but I do have an invoicing lesson and provide a blank invoice in the course that you can fill out.
Madam i want to loads of vans please tell me best load page
Great where can find the dispatch course? Do it has the Back Office service training included.
