Nah, I'd say the deep web is really what the surface web has been since it's inception to today, there's still not really anything on the deep web that you couldn't find on the surface web, I mean trust me, there's a lot of illegal stuff, a google search away. Italian Tomato Pie with Parmesan can be found en masse, that way. The internet has become a better place in some regards though, that shit isn't as easily found anymore, because you could find that shit randomly before by trying to search for totally unrelated things like Pokémon type chart...
There used to be a car image hosting site, well, let's say that it doesn't exist anymore as it has been purged from the internet for hosting other things than cars.
So yeah... The Clear Web/Surface Web is basically the Deep Web, with less extra step, and less protection, and way to much illegal stuff for anyone to actually be able to moderate it all.

One time I went to the dank web at 3AM to find the scariest of creepypastas. Against my better judgement, I found a hyper realistic red room and paid lots of Robux to get in. To my horror, it showed an Indian guy with a backwards hat and a gold chain with a hyper realistic badge on it. I think the badge had the letters "DWP" on it, which I think stands for Dank Web Police. Suddenly, the guy pulled out a MAC-10 and pointed at the screen while saying "Nothin' personnel, boyo". Then he shot the screen and hyper realistic explosions happened, and my virtual machine suddenly died. I thought it was just a joke, but then I noticed my actual machine had its wallpaper forcibly changed. It was the same guy from before, making a poggers face. Under his face was a hyper realistic text in Comic Sans that said "You shouldn't have done that". Also, I randomly keep hearing this hyena laughing, so it must be that same guy. Needless to say, I'll never visit the dank web again.

Its impossible to check out everything on the deep web so we cant actually know whats on there. We already know there are some sick people out there so i wouldnt be suprised if its actually worse than they say it is.

ngl, the whole deep web thing is just so fucking dumb & hilarious.
The whole thing peaked around the whole silver road stuff, the "spooky" stuff are mostly art projects, the rest are just drugs & fire arms.
You can find videos of people getting mutilated/gored on the surface web through gore sites already, hell even social medias like twitter/reddit has them, and I guarantee they're more disturbing than most of the stuff you find in stuff that aren't indexed by most search engines.
Though watching your videos surrounding these topics are always entertaining :)
