One day I shall treat myself to an Omega, I liked the stainless case, I enjoyed polishing those cases, need to do some research on different styles and metals before hand, 1940’s or 1950’s might be nice.

Cal 565 was the absolute best and last movement at the end of the sixties, before Omega began using the failure 1000-series of movements.

I wouldn't call the 1000 series a failure, but they were not the same finish as the earlier movements for sure
