Bravo for the realization! It's simple, effective and can really save people from ugly accidents! Also it looks pretty cool

Fangs are great, everyone should add fangs to their Onewheel. I did after I displaced and fractured my left head radius ( coneceted to elbow) because of unpredictable nosedives. If you don’t to break that bone add large fangs, since most people will break something. The up push is bullshit, now way you can feel it. It seems one wheel won’t fix the nosedive issue because their engineers have Superman egos.
That is a proprer thinking. I imagine if it is possible to elevate the main axys to stay some inches higher and even puting some skatebording deck on the nose. Now, using the wheel cover to put batterys and other things it is a clever move. I defenitly will have one of these soon.
Ur homemade mods are better then any others in the market. Its practical good use. Instead of round fenders its flat for good ego mounting and it wont sag off on ur ankle there. And plus that metal plate skateboard front Plus.
Shortly after diving off my brothers onewheel two weeks ago, fracturing my wrist and being out of work for 6 wks, i thought of this exact thing! I almost emailed the idea to onewheel--just put some nice, low profile rollers at both ends to prevent these nasty, debilitating spills. Good for you.

The max speed computed is: 4 frames for one wheel turn, 30 fps, which gives 7.5 revol/s. 7.5*~0.2m*3.14 = ~4.5mps = ~16kmph = ~10 mph
