If that was my garage, I'd stick a bar there for sure. Drinks fridge, some neon lighting, a stupidly soft couch, and you could hang a load of tat from old projects on the wall.

Just a heads up when you remove those stretch bolts out of the Cross frame to hold the bumper in you have to replace them, There 17 mm 2 in each side, because if you don't and you try to put them back into the car again they will loosen up and fall out! Your engine will literally start shaking because the bolts will become so loose! Oh yeah the last thing don't over tighten those Cross frame bolts because the threads inside the chambers can break and it's almost impossible to weld new ones.
You've clearly got the patience and tenacity to do things right for this car and to that end, please, *please* don't go too far with anything (deletes and additions) you do to your 'Rado or it will simply end up with the other dead soldiers in a place just like that graveyard you visited. Care for it. Let it be a Corrado.
Reading through all these comments saying they're heartbroken from seeing all those Corrado's in the GY. Imagine how I must feel after seeing my very own Corrado I used to own in your thumbnail, in the GY. H433 BYS. I sold it to some jumped up little kid and clearly he treated it like shit for it to end up there. Everything worked on it, it drove brilliantly and had around 80k on it. Can not believe it ended up in your video lol. I almost want you to go back and make another video on it just so I can see what happened to it. 😭
Man, I could see myself draining my bank account if I ever could get over there to that graveyard! The tan Recaro interior would be amazing in my VR6 plus lots of parts for my G60!!! Good stuff!
The rust behind the bumper is typical for Corrados. My 16V has also much rust there.

Love the Corrado content as always man! But please, when you fit the sprinter vent, the smaller/narrower side needs to be at the front of the wing!
Cheers mate! The way the vent is looks like the indents should push the air in from the front so we'll get a few more pictures and confirm which way it's going 😂
@@BWTV I think you're probably right, but when I had one on my Mk2 it just looked much better with the small side at the front. Having said that it was just for aesthetics not performance. Google 'sprinter vent golf' and you're see what I mean

when you take similar bolts out in similar places .. put em in a sandwich baggie and label it!.. then you can keep your bolts straight.. every bolt you remove clean em
..and paint em... make it a point to do that with every bolt you touch.. amd by the end it'll be perfect.. I'd clean up sand and paint that lower rad support.. think of it just as more content.. keep it up bro.. Carrados are very rare.. to bring one back is doing the lords work!!

No way. That´s why i had to buy just simple door pins from the UK. You can´t find any Corrados at the graveyard here in Germany.
Just done the same job myself, taking the bumper off dropped it as it was heavy🤦 my radiator support is rusty too got get on that the weekend, fyi check your bumper support mines a bit rusty so need to sort that too

my advice.... get a freeking 2nd fender.... and mod/paint that. if you ever sell it you can always give the new owner the orginal fender if they decide its not in there taste! . cus corrados only go up in Valeu after that bidding war on bringatrailer.com with the cor vr6 there

Why did you get a nee wing? Just weld the plate in the wing on the car? Also another way of getting a cold air feed would have been to put a lower bumpet air intake duct with a or duct hose to feed the air up. I have on on Black Betty 👍 my one is made by Bonrath but there is also other ones out there that will be pretty much the same..✌️

It's a guy who's selling his old collection, no different to you breaking your own car for parts?
When a car is classed as scrap, so IE 'breaking' it is classed as waste. So it needs to be depolluted at a registered ATF, and the parts can only be stored on a permitted land IE a 'U16' if you aren't an ATF which is only for the storage of Parts not for resale. The only way you can break cars is by being registered. YOU CAN'T just break Cars, because it is your collection. It is a Highly Hazardous waste issue.
