गांधीजी बद्दल खूप छान माहिती दिली. सकारात्मक आणि नकारात्मक मुद्दे खुप व्यवस्थित मांडलेत.
फक्त १ विनंती आहे. हे जे आम्हाला माहीत नसलेले किंवा contraversial मुद्दे आहेत त्याचा reference मिळेल का ? जसे की
१) अब्दुल रशीद ल भाऊ म्हणाले तो प्रसंग
२) स्वामी रामानंद तीर्थ यांना दिलेला सल्ला

भगतसिंग, सुखदेव, राजगुरू... यांची फाशी गांधी जी रद्द करू शकले असते.. पण ते झाले नाही... त्यचवेळी मुसलमान मुलांची फाशी..त्यानी रद्द करवली..यावर प्रकाश टाकावा..ही विनंती...
आपली नि:पक्षपाती विचार करण्याची शक्ती अभुतपूर्व आहे. त्यामुळे भाषण फार आवडले. पण एक प्रश्न आहे. गांधीजी यांनी 'अहिंसा परमो धर्म:' एव्हढाच भाग स्वीकारला व त्यापुढचा भाग जाणीवपूर्वक वगळला (तो आजही बहुतेक लोकांना माहिती नसतो) व त्यामुळे काही जरी झालं, कितिही अन्याय झाला तरी आपण तो निमूटपणे सहन करणे हा आपला धर्म आहे, असा समज पसरला असे मानले जाते. त्याबाबत आपले काय मत आहे, ते जाणून घ्यायला आवडेल. जेव्हा जिनांच्या उपदेशाप्रमाणे 16.8.46 ला मुसलमान लोकांनी हिन्दुंची कत्तल करायला सुरवात केली तेव्हा गांधीजींनी हिंदुंना 'तुम्हीही जमेल तसा प्रतिकार करा' असे सांगितले असते तर त्यांचा दृष्टीकोन अहिंसेचा अतिरेक करणारा नव्हता हे पटले असते. सत्याग्रहात दंडुके खाऊन घेणे हा अभुतपूर्व प्रयोग असेलही पण दंगलीत अत्याचाराचा कणखरपणे प्रतिकार करणे हे पण आपले कर्तव्य आहे असं त्यांनी कधी सांगितलं होतं का, याचा कृपया उलगडा करावा.

Therefore, while on his sickbed, he was killed by the killer who wanted to meet him in the name of religious discussion on Islam. He was allowed inside on the orders of Swamiji. He sent Swamiji's honest servant Dharam Singh out to get water on the pretext of asking for water to quench his thirst, and then when the servant left, he inflicted two mortal injuries in the chest of the patient lying on the bed."

I wander why M K Gandhi is called Mahatma, when he was very much responsible for partition of India. Veer Savarkar would call him a Sissy. Jinnah rated him even lower than the lowest of Muslims. B R Ambedkar says, "I never liked Gandhi, because he showed his real feathers to me." Gandhi has called great icons like Shivaji Maharaj, Maharana Pratap, and Rani Lakshmibai, as misguided patriots. as regards giving independence to India, I feel that, British were compelled to leave India, because of the 2nd world-war. so it was nothing to do with Gandhi. another fact. In spite of majority of Hindu population, Gandhi wanted Hyderabad to go to Pakistan, because its king was muslim. however, he wanted Kashmir also to go to Pakistan, in spite of having a Hindu king, as its large muslim population. all in all, a totally bastard fellow.

Gandhi isn't a Mahatma at all, he never followed Hinduism. He's doings mostly reflect Christian philosophy. He never spoke against the Moplah massacre of Hindus instead told hindus to be more tolerant. He did fast for everything but why didn't fast unto death against partition.
