I just realize in this episode, Gilbert refers that 'Billy,' is his buddy. After Gilbert's dad's death, he told Billy he wasn't his buddy. I think in the long run, Anne, and Bash are mostly his best friends, even though he marries Anne, which is better to marry your best friend, in the end. Someone you can trust, and love at the same time. Which is why its called soul mates, for a reason. :)
I think that Gilbert calling Billy buddy here was just for the sake of the conversation in order to check Billy and diffuse the situation with him bullying Anne. I honestly don't think that he and Billy were actually true "buddies." I get the feeling that Gilbert always felt that way about Billy, and Anne entering the picture and Billy's subsequent bullying of her solidified his feelings.
I found out the reason why Netflix won't revive or renew, Anne With An E, and Netflix told me it has something to do with licensing agreement, which means if we want them to renew it. We fans, need to pay it ourselves, since they obviously don't want to, since they obviously have the money for it, but won't for whatever reason. I guess in the end, its up to us.
I love this version of their meeting because Gilbert was being a jerk when they first met. It didn’t start with the hair thing at all but something more positive
I alway thougth it was beacuse: 1: She was still under shock. 2: she didn't wanted to be late to school, and 3: She never experienced someone, especialy a boy, rushing in to help her, so she didn't know how to respond.
I remember when it was my first time watching this movie, i was like i wonder if gilbert is actually "DrEaMy" as they say and then when i saw this scene at 0:44 i was like whattt he looks like noah schnapp but only in this scene at 0:44 but i realize it was not him but bruh i literally had like the biggest crush on him when watching the movie and i still do, its a great love story😍❤❤❤
