Honestly the “once an addict interlude” hit me the hardest too when I first listened to the album. You can tell that came from a deep place in his heart. When you have a parent that has their own issues you sometimes wish the fact that they have a child to care for was enough for them to do better, but it’s not 💔

Basically two concept albums based on the theme of the rise and fall of rappers that simply ride waves. He uses their beat styles and rhyme schemes both ironically and to draw in listeners with the hopes they'll recieve his larger message. Second album seems like he'll continue along with this concept.

Everything he spoke about being addicted to weed happened to me. I look back and can't believe the person I was and I still suffer some effects from it after quiting half a year ago. That shit is no joke. Everything he said, losing touch with reality, being uncomfortable in my skin. I can't even believe, I slowly made my way out of a very dark place and finally doing a lot better.
my friend was crazy addicted to weed and his lung popped. he quit smoking for like a week and his mom bought him some bud. now hes back on his bullshit :( i could tell so much growth too when he was sober. he was honeslty a different person. shits heartbreaking to see
