- Today we are discussing the 10 fastest yachts in the world. On this list we go over lots of the fastest yachts in the world. Some of these yachts have both luxury and speed, something desirable by many billionaires and wealthy individuals.
If a yacht is defined by having a bedroom and where people can sit at a table and eat then Jon Olsson's 52 ft Bernico hybrid is the fastest having been recorded at 104.2 knots so far ,delivered in July 2022 , it's not an ocean crossing boat but it has a bathing area and swim platform
Bryah❤❤😂🎉😢😮😅😊
52ft is a boat
Love the remote control boat in one of the videos. 🤣
Try in all of them!!
Looked like Thunderbirds 🤣
Full watching from Philippines 🇵🇭
The Philippines has 7000 islands!
You need boats to get around!
Love it!
Galeorerdo is the boat at the end oh "the island" from M Bay?
Nice RC boat
70 mph is extremely fast for any boat, the fact these big boats can achieve that speed is ridiculously cool, and expensive, these boats at top speed would cost thousands of dollars to go 1 mile.
Thanks
A yacht isn't an investment. A cruise ship, a container ship or a bulk carrier is an investment. There's a whole different thinking that goes into commissioning a yacht.
Especially when its a Russian owned super Yacht...Costing $300Million one. Thatcwas Hi jacked by US Navy in Pacific ocean Owned by Russian Billionaire. Taken by US Navy. Couldn't say it is a War trophy.
As USA. Isn't at war with Russia...although ofcourse USA are supporting Ukraine and Gives Ukraine $ Billions to Ukraine Government. ...against PresidentPutin....
..So Stealing. Umm ..😢😢😢
My boat's really slow, but I can run the whole season on one 150 l tank (>600 nm).
That's what a superyacht consumes to leave the harbor... 😁
Would have liked to hear how big each of the “yachts” are. Most of these sacrifice outdoor space for speed.
Stayed tuned for an upcoming video that covers the Largest Yachts In The World!
Good....👍💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐
60 knots seems plenty!
I think what's missing is the GPH
OK how did you leave off the well known fastest yacht in the world?!?!
The USS Gerald Ford is over 100,000 tons 1100 ft and it has four shafts driving huge propellers, hard to believe it's probably faster in deep seas (30 to 60 foot waves) then all of above mentioned in video. I'm not saying it's faster in general but it can circumnavigate in high seas at a very fast rate. Something to think about
Only people on the USS Gerald Ford would go through 30 to 60 foot waves. The others aren't required to do that.
You're of course referring to the famous "yacht" USS Gerald Ford?
@@randywl8925 not to mention a simple Google search will show the top speed of 30 knots. Definitely faster than the 70 knots that first place holds.
@@deekamikaze
My point was.. . .
....they called it a yacht.
Many NAVY personnel would beg to differ. 😁
Gerald ford can do 60 knots gatungodamnteeit I've talked to officers they say classified but anytime anywhere in the world.
Number 9 is an RC! Number 4, you give many of its spec except its length: 42mt and the company: Wallypower. The World Is Not Enough has a cruising speed of 30 knots and a 3500nm range. At 70 knots its range is reduced to 750 nm. The previous numbers are pretty impressive.
Galeocerdo is actually 36metres long.
@@chippyjohn1 Im not sure why I said 42m. When I know its 118'. Oh well. Thanks.
I also thought that it looks like the Wally Power 118
Fun fact: Somalian Pirate boats go up to 80 knots 🤦♂
What the Dickens is a Blue Ryband.
2:13 Seriously? Your footage has a model boat in a pond?
Wait... what?
Arrrrrrrrr
The current holder of the Hale's Trophy, known as the 'Blue Riband', is
the liner SS United States, which had a cruising speed in excess of
30 knots and is reputed to have a (still classified) top speed of 60 knots
35 knots (65 km/h; 40 mph) (service) 38.32 knots (70.97 km/h; 44.10 mph) (trials) 43 knots (80 km/h; 49 mph) (claimed)
Incat, builders of fast catamaran ferries is Australia, and therefore indisputably commercial vessels, decided to make an attempt to win the Hales Trophy, for which the record was still that of United States. This was achieved in 1990 by Hoverspeed Great Britain, with a non-stop crossing of 79 hours 54 minutes, averaging 36.6 knots and Incat were awarded the trophy by the Hales Trophy Committee. Eight years later this record was broken by another Incat vessel, Catalonia, and again the following month by Cat-Link V.
they need to put some catamaran Arms and lift the hull out of the water then they can do 890 and 90 knots
Number 4 was on the movie named "the island "
#9 and #8 are great yachts...i love the pools on top
Hi, great list but where is the "Moonraker" ??
This list is rubbish you cannot count some of these as yarchs
Number 4 is a Wally 118, not what you've said. It's one of the most spectacular yachts ever made. At top speed, the slogan calls "A mile a minute, a liter a second!"
Easy way to equate knots (Nautical Miles) a knot is 2000 yards, a statute mile in 1580 yards.....
one Nm is 1850 m in usefull units.
A knot is speed not distance
@@patterdale4332 knot (nautical mile is Both) nautical miles per hour, OR 2000 yards.....
I thought a mile was 1760yards
Яхта с вертолётными движками на главной заставке - в Черногории стоит . Она в фильме Остров - была - Скарлетт Йохансон и Оби Ван Кеноби - ураганили на ней 👍лайк , подписка, комментарий .
istn better to make it fly to cover better distances with better speed , air has less density than water. Im cuirous about that kind of design
Ok je prend trois de chaque modèle.

No 5, Top Speed of 63.5 Yachts, Hmmmm
Would have liked to see the final moments of the video. Cramming ad space blows. 😔. It's always pay more fore ad free content. CZcams needs to be less corporate more user oriented.
As if we don't have enough ad's in this world. Soon to be sending ad's in your dreams. If they could.
the biggest polluters of the sea
Not oiltankers or cargo ships then
The Wally 118 is the only boat that still looks modern and fresh. All the others have aged terribly. The Wally 118 might just be the best designed boat ever in history.
It was difficult to sell though as it didn't have enough mirrors in it for the billionaires.
Kereon looks very modern
cant see the last yacht!
I like small boats, yatchs are too much work 🎉
Im glad no one knows about my yaght that can go 140mph at 600ft length using rip drive power.
Really convincing spelling of yacht :-)
Stopped watching at 1:17 if you call that rag a yacht I'm not interested in the other nine!
Pershing yacht didn't make the cut😔
Just a small point. These are not "Yachts", these are motorboats or motor vessels if you like. The word "yacht" was highjacked from the old "J" class racing yachts of old which were only for the rich which coined the term "Superyacht" to define if from normal hobby sailing craft. Yachts they are not.
Wtf is with the RC footage?
🍸
I WOULD have given this video a thumbs up - if only the pronunciation had been better...
"the Blue Rye-band"???
Seriously????????
And then you show r/c toys too??!!!
Diese Sport Yachten sind für die Galapagos Inseln Besuch geeignet
The first 8 are not yacht but more speed boats etc.
No 6 is a yatch I used to have one
@@patterdale4332 was not meant as negativ. i was thinking more for the speed
Dumbest explanation of why billionaires own super yachts. "Because they are nice" is not the reason.
They own them for many reasons, but almost all of them are floating property investments that either store the owners dollar value or earn money as they are used for charter or are giant tax write off's.
I don‘t know, but I doubt the ‚earn money‘ claim. These are money sinks with ridiculous operating costs. And a property investment requires a certain resale value (usually higher than original invest) - which I doubt as well. If lucky, they keep their value, but I would doubt that as well.
I do however think that the tax writeoff is not only true, but rather substantial.
😎
Fastest but the distance?
Ok so why 720p when its 480p kid.
There is always a misunderstanding about speed on water. Unlike on earth, speed on water is “relative”, that means speed (V) is related to the length of the boat. Therefore these boats, for the scientific meaning of the word, are not that fast.
I've got a pershing 7x when your at 50 knots it's very very fast have you ever been 50 knots???
@@patterdale4332 it is clear you know nothing about "speed on water". My smallest boat (16') was doing 42 knots with 25 HP. That's much FASTER than a Pershing at 50 knots. Actually I'm in the range of 80 knots with a 25'. V/Radq L
What actually are you talking about? Speed is relative to length? Makes no sense.
You think by using radio control toys as number 8 and 9 is fair
lol.for real
Ridiculous.
lol Wallypower...
70.1 is slow. We’re in The Future now, buds! 🤣😅😉
That is not slow for a yatch 70 knots is equivalent to F1 cars speed do you know what it takes just to get a yatch to 50 knots every knot after is unbelievably hard and it's not just sticking bigger motors in its mainly about hull shape and displacement
Look, we’re going to take a 747, and then we’re going to put some floats on it. 🤠😅😆
Why do you have pictures of model toys why not have actual video of these boats going flat out while you’re explaining their specs can’t be that hard to get footage can it
The guy can not even pronounce RIBAND, it is not the Blue Ryband🤷♀️ Then the yacht for the King of Spain FAUNUS #1, it can not possibly go that speed with only 4200 hp of engines ((2 x 1200 hp & then 3 x 600 hp) for that size of boat: The number 3 boat a 68 meter, Desriero, was slower and had 55,000 hp:::::::when I search the 3 Rolls Royce turbines were 6700 hp each
The Destriero was powered by General Electric turbines of the type used in the F-18 fighter plane, but obviously for shaft horspower.
It is "Riband Bleu" in French or "Blue Ribbon" in English, BTW.
I find it interesting, noticing the claims of the other, heavier yachts with FAR lesser propulsion systems. Destriero is still the KING.
For 1 knot the conversion is 1.151 into miles per hour
What is missing is the cost to run these boats. Gallons per hour at cruising speed and flat out. Haulover Inlet channel has done this with some boats hitting $400 US an hour cruising. PS all these boats are ugly. Imho, proving that money doesn’t come with taste or intelligence. PPS Wealth is no excuse for wastefulness.
You are showing us model boats in a paddle of water for the real thing? Really?!😂
600 Hp? Yeah No. You're out of your mind. If you're going to narrate, get your facts right. To move a yacht like that is at least six thousand horsepower.
interesting video mixed up with some of the most bizarre pronounciations! Not one of these could be called "pretty", but I suppose if speed is your be all and end all, then "pretty" doesn't matter!
Ha ha 😂
2nd and 1st 67 and 70 knots?
Droped from the sky maybe.👍
Most of these are 20 year old glorified speed boats rather than true modern luxury yachts…more of a maritime history lesson
DES JOUETS POUR POLLUEURS
I can build faster boats… But I have no funding…
There yatchs not boats and you could not so stop being dopey
Dates are not all right.
call that a yachts stu feck.........lolz
Give me funding.
Using RC boats as part of the video…kinda weak
Some of these are not yatchs
Their Speed is nice but their range sucks butt
carbon crime
I was on an aircraft carrier that navigated 750 nautical miles in 8 hours. This weak billionaire bs makes me yawn.
Pretty sick whilst everyone is starving. What’s the carbon footprint on one of those? Is the owner paying his staff enough money, is he putting money into pension pots, clearly not. This industry need to be limited or a global tax levied.
The only place anyone shrieks about "carbon footprint," miraculously is anywhere but China, India, Africa and Asia.
Strange how only things that can cost Westerners money seem to make it into the shriekfest foisted off on the unbelievably stupid and gullible.
It's there money they can do what they like if you had 10 million would you give most of it away? Bet you would have a house that's 2 big and some very expensive cars
Ok Felicia😂
