Nasty slugs!!! I know you hate to squish them, but if you can gather them, using a spoon even because they are very hard to touch, then just step over to the wall overlooking the creek, and give the spoon a good shake! Weeeeeee! The slug goes on a flight to his new home among all the nice plants along the creek! He would soon forget all your delicious flowers im sure, or be too lazy to climb, inch by inch allllllll the way back up that wall! The cooking parts on the top of the stove are called "elements" if they are electric, over here in The States, and also "burners" is used from all types, electric coils, and gas flames. How exciting your stove! Its beautiful!

The La Cornue is incredible...I definitely have stove envy :) I just wanted to mention that I noticed that much of your footage is overexposed. I don't know what you're using to film, but if you can adjust the ISO, it might help take care of that. Best wishes.
Use small bowls placed around garden and pour beer in the bowls. The slugs are supposed to be attracted to the smell of the beer. And drown in the beer.😊
Alla, I'm curious, why are you putting your beautiful stove in the outside kitchen since it's such an expensive appliance? I would want it inside where it would be much more convenient to use and it would be protected from the weather. Kathy USA 🇺🇸

Treat all earthlings with compassion, we depend on the intricate structure of nature. To nurture your roses and scream at a slug feels hypocritical or perhaps lac of maturity, I am not sure. Hi Alla if you put table salt on the slugs they shrink and die 😮
Salt kills slugs.
If you put lines of salt on your paths or walkways, the slugs will come into contact with the salt and they will die.

I definitely will. Not sure about final height yet - but we will make stove just a bit taller with hidden wheels
