Perfect timing as I started picking up the fluff ball. Learning how Eldegoss doesn’t really benefit from Buddy Barrier is really something. Definitely considering running the sp.atk specs, muscle band, and score shield perhaps?

Eldegoss has a hard time scoring even with score shield. Id go muscle/foucs/band buddy barrier. Or wise glasses/choice specs/focus band for bigger heals

Eldegoss brought me to Masters! I run Muscle Band (L30), Choice Specs (L20) and Score Shield (L30). I find this works better for me. I don’t need to be overly aggressive in scoring but at the same time I can get in my scores when needed.

Yes I think that's the best build for elde Jonathan. Your late game shields get so powerful with maxed out SpA specs, not to mention the spike damage you get on your unite.

I solo q w/ gossy a lot... I get showered with good games/nice jobs from both teams... My favorite moment with her so far is holding off our second to last goal for the final minute of a match in a 5v1... Even I was like HOW AM I NOT KOd YET! team fights are absolute madness as eldy. I’d like to run special attack specs and muscle band, but I’m not sure how much easier score shield will make scoring for Eldegoss. Would buddy barrier or focus sash be better as a third item? Any advice?

It depends on your playstyle. Score Shield is always good to ensure that you score your points and it protects you from the enemy jumping onto you via jump pad. Plus, it pairs well with Special Attack Specs. Buddy Barrier is a bit redundent on Eldegoss since she is invincible durning the floating portion of her unite move, but it can provide a shield to the ally with the lowest health for big team fights. Focus Band can help Eldegoss stay alive in a pinch with the hp recovery. It's all boils down to how you play Eldegoss.

Fun fact about cotton guard. It affects Rotom when you get him, meaning you can keep him alive for longer.
Correction: Buddy barrier works on Rotom, not Cotton Guard.

@@britemite9042 The thing is that now I know that normal basic attacks are attack based and boosted basic are sp atk based for sp atk pokemon, wich is kind of what i wanted to know. And yeah, it is used for the attack spd and the extra dmg from the band.
