ICAR as Center Of Excellence | Hyderabad to be Promoted as Global Millet Hub | Idi Sangathi

చిరుధాన్యాల ప్రాముఖ్యతను ప్రపంచానికి చాటిచెప్పేలా... భారత్ సలహా మేరకు 2023ను అంతర్జాతీయ చిరుధాన్యాల సంవత్సరంగా.... ఐరాస ప్రకటించింది. దీనికి మరింత బలం చేకూర్చేలా.. చిరుధాన్యాలకు పూర్వవైభవం తీసుకొచ్చేలా కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం బడ్జెట్ లో పెద్దపీట వేసింది. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో రైతులు, శాస్త్రవేత్తల కృషికి గొప్ప ఫలితంగా దక్కింది. ఇకపై తృణధాన్యాలకు భారత్ ను గ్లోబల్ హబ్ గా మార్చేందుకు హైదరాబాద్ రాజేంద్రనగర్ లోని భారతీయ చిరుధాన్యాల పరిశోధన సంస్థ-ICARను సెంటర్ ఆఫ్ ఎక్స్ లెన్స్ గా రూపొందించి సహకారం అందిస్తామని కేంద్ర ఆర్థిక మంత్రి నిర్మలా సీతారామన్ బడ్జెట్ ప్రసంగంలో ప్రకటించారు. దీనికి సంతోషం వ్యక్తం చేసిన ICAR అనుబంధ IIMR డైరెక్టర్ డాక్టర్ C.V రత్నావతి. IIMR.... సెంటర్ ఆఫ్ ఎక్సలెన్స్ గా అవతరిస్తే 11 రకాల నాణ్యమైన చిరుధాన్యాల విత్తనాలను అంతర్జాతీయంగా ఎగుమతి చేస్తామని అంటున్నారు. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో అందుకు సంబంధించిన మరిన్ని విషయాలను ఆమె మాటల్లోనే తెలుసుకుందాం.
