Apparently the engineer has a light that's on when the driver presses the radio button. So he could tell when Kimi was talking but couldn't hear him.
Kimi vs. the drink was a more fierce battle than Max vs. Lewis.

What an underrated but excellent performance by Carlos Sainz 👏 He definitely deserves more support.
I have seen a lot of Leclerc fans trying to discredit him by saying he was lucky lol
actually i would call him slightly overrated right now. i know it’s controversial. he has done brilliantly but after he was underrated for a undeservingly long time, he is now regarded the better Ferrari driver by too many. he went quickly from overlooked to slightly overrated imo, but he will for sure continue on this level so i guess that won’t take too long into next year to change my view on the fans’ reactions after the season

2022 Renault prepared a better engine, so maybe his cursed fortune gets a turn around, right now only his teammate has won a race by running the dice.
@@atlantiacallaecia3676 McLaren now barely even resembles the mess it was back then, after 2018 they kicked out the old management and started building up from scratch again. New TP, new Team owner, new engine, new chassis, new drivers.

@@solidsnack3681 no, the "you absolutely deserve it" was his engineer. It went Alex, his engineer, and then Horner.
Albon was on the pit wall with his own radio set I believe
Alex Albon's "OHHH MYYY LOORRRDD MAXXXX" was as genuine and wholesome as a former teammate can react. He's(AA) not necessarily my favorite driver (Team LH) but mad respect for being such a support throughout his short career. I smiled when he hopped on the comms.
Definitely not a short career, maybe a bit of detour yes but he still got a seat in F1 next year. We haven't seen Albon in his prime yet and I believe he still can grow. With that talent he definitely has a place to stay in F1 for a long time, trust me.
@Mister Lestari I agree, as I wasn't implying that his career is anywhere near being done. Personally, I'm hopefully optimistic of what him (AA), King Latifi, and Williams can achieve next year together.
@@misterlestari5772 plus, he worked hard this year behind the curtains of RB, and did amazing work helping the engineers and Max and Checo. He's also on of the reasons Max did it this year. All the elements worked like a charm

Daniel and his engineer are the best team I’ve ever seen in F1. Literally Daniel was really happy when he won in Italy and his engineer too 😂😂
I'm pretty sure the noise in the background of Daniel's radio is from Zak Brown, Mclaren Racing's CEO. I don't think his engineer said anything atleast in the clip they showed in this video
