Very helpful tips, the mistake I made was selling during mid summer body butters, I did put inn ice packs but it still melted. For the candles I stuff the boxes with paper & crickle paper, some biodegradable peanuts that I reused from previous packages that I received. I learned a valuelable lesson when I sent a snowglobe to my grandma yrs ago to Puerto Rico, it arrive in pieces.

Great tips and info as always! Question, do you just pack product directly in the box to ship? Or do you pack in a "product box" and then put that into a second box to ship?

Thank you for your tips. How to package candles?
I've never had sugar scrub explode, but just as bad I used to sell my lotion products with the large pumps in the bottle. No longer, I place a screw top cap on them with electrical tape and send the pump along! Yep, I had several of those partially unscrew and spill product on everything!!! Yuck, what a mess!

Great Video - love lesson learned videos....you mentioned bio-degradable shrink wrap packaging for your soap - where did you find that? I've looked everywhere and can only find it in the UK. I've been gift wrapping my soaps and then applying a cigar label, but would love to find a solution that is eco friendly that allows the soaps to be visible.
National Shrinkwrap - order through them inthe states or from soapandmore in Calgary is what I found for best prices
Could you possibly ship your summer body butters or ship body butters in the summertime if you put cold packs in there kind of like HelloFresh does for their food maybe that might work
I ship in the summer. I freeze the body butter then cold ship with ice packs and thermal wrapping.
