I love this video very informative. I love seeing other business owners videos. I’ve learned a lot by watching others videos. I hope you get the printer working I can’t wait to see it work. I use the Comer thermal printer for my business it saves so much time during the packing process. For shipping I use Pirate Ship we save big and it’s integrated w/ Usps and my online store. Keep up the good work awesome video.
Living in Chicago, I can feel your pain. Sometimes days & days go by without any mail. Post offices aren’t open, etc..Great video!
I got the FreeX in June and I can attest that is wonderful for small business owners! Wifi printing is a nice touch!
I really hope you get the printer working. I was recently gifted a Zebra brand thermal printer and I wish it was wireless like the one you're trying. Thanks for all of your BTS videos, they are so helpful to the rest of us running our soap businesses.
Most of my business is local thank God. I do have internet orders every week but it is not my primary source of sales. I am very fortunate to have a large local return clientele.
I'm sorry, but one should want business from around the world. Being content is the wrong way to approach business. Most internet buyers are aware of shipping cost and paying for shipping might scare away some people, but there is literally 6 Billion shoppers around the world and even if 1% of them are willing to pay shipping, that is still a large market.
I also purchased the FreeX and I can second that it has been a life saver in printing labels.

I thought it might be worth mentioning that some may want to look into the organizations that uline donates to. The small biz I work for got wind of it a few years ago and since the main ones were in opposition to our core values, we found other suppliers despite some additional cost. The side benefit in new suppliers was that they ended up being a bit more eco friendly too 🙌.
I hope that isn’t taken badly, they can obviously donate to whoever they like, and everyone can do business with whomever they like, we were just a bit blindsided when we found out.
Anyway, thank you for the wealth of information that you continue to share, I enjoy your channel!!

I've been making soap for personal use, and family and friends have always BEGGED me for more or to sell. I finally decided to take the plunge! I am branching out into body butters and scrubs and was wondering where you get your jars? Like yourself I am in Ontario and shipping can be expensive. Hi Jerika! Thanks for your wonderful videos. I have actually been ordering essential oils from New directions aromatic, even though I am in the states. I find that even with shipping they are competitive, and have not been out of as many things as other companies. What percentage of essential oils would you do, if you were doing a pure essential oil soap?

short on help at many post offices. I know they reached out to Wisconsin Post offices to try and get help down there. All the craziness in some areas, carriers are nervous and afraid but, the biggest problem is not enough employees in post offices across the country, some are just hit harder than others. Those carriers who have been working are getting burnt out from long 12+ hour days and no days off. It's a harder job than some people realize. I hope it gets better down there and other places too.
Judging from my past experiences I’ve found that shipped across Canada (Calgary to Toronto) costs about $18 so thats usually my cost. Which really sucks because i know people don’t enjoy purchasing items AND shipping (even if the price of the item is higher they rather free shipping)

On eshipper does it tell you if it’s with tracking or not?
That’s who I use when ship to Canada
It's rare that printers come broken. If youve installed it correctly, have set the correct paper size on your mac, and calibrated the printer it should work. You still need to change the paper format on the website you purchase shipping from 8.5x11 to 4x6, otherwise it wont print correctly. I would recommend if you havent got it to work, to check out TheCollegePicker on youtube. Recently he uploaded a tutorial on how to install it both with USB and WI-FI. Check it out :)

How do you calculate shipping on Etsy? If a customer buys multiple items from the same shop, they are charged shipping on each individual item. That’s a problem. I see often
Hey Jerika, if you are looking for cheaper shipping options to the USA from Canada. I use Chit Chats here in Ontario it takes about 2-4 days for the package to ship!

Oh god, Purolator = 🤮. I swear they drive by your house and pretend they stopped then 10mins later you get an email saying you were not home. WTF?
I bet that thermal printer is not compatible with a Mac, that is most likely the problem most are only compatible with a PC not a Mac. Hope this helps! Probably not what you wanna hear, disappointing no less...☹
