“I, Loki of Asgard, son of Giants, God of Mischief. I call the Ragnarok upon you. I will inspire you with terror and death, you will witness emptiness and desolation such as you have never witnessed before. And you shall kneel before me and dare not look me in the eye, for I will be your master and my vengeance will be complete.”
For this composition, I have been inspired by what is currently known as traditional Viking or Norse music, adding my own style and aesthetics. I imagine the rage and power of Loki, who throughout the composition plots his ultimate revenge, which he carries out with all the passion of his anger, to the horror of those whose fate forces them to watch 👹🌑...

As a Norse Pagan that has worked with Loki, this song fits him. People who seriously go with Marvel as some kind of standard are honestly idiots. While I actually do like Marvel's Thor, I know much of it cannot be taken as cannon in many of the actual legends.

I don't think those people you comment on are idiots, but I certainly think they are closed-minded or uneducated: Loki's history is much richer and older than Marvel, of course, and they can't seem to separate the one from the other. And I have nothing against the movies or the series, I think it's great that they adapt the old stories or renew them!
But one has to try to separate the one from the other, especially when I specified that this topic is about the God, not about Hiddleston, even if he is also a god in his own way :P!

Loki is not a god, is a jotunn a force of Chaos.
Yeah not in loki's style so no. Not all norse music makes it a loki able theme.

Sadly there is no feeling of rage or power in this musical piece at all. Sounds very generic and def not suitable for a revenge theme or even an god of mischief vibe. On its own it not too bad of a composition.

The good thing about music and art in general is that it is subjective: there is not just one way to portrait feelings. I myself was actually really angry while composing this theme. I did a lot of research into Loki's mythology, actual quotes, runes, etc. And in my eyes, this piece sounds really angry. Not only angry, actually! It sounds like so many other things: I hear his anger, I hear his passion, his mind rambling, his plots and lies, I feel his ideas, his body trembling, I imagine the ways he is going to get his revenge.
So, since music is subjective, I do feel things that you don't: there is not a "one-way" to reflect emotions through music. I feel Loki in my composition. It is really ok if you don't!

@@lordseaworth6055 Then there's the "mistake" you are making: this is not about Loki from Marvel. This is about Loki, the God of Mischief, the son of Farbauti and Laufey, half-brother of Thor, Loki the snake, the one who will call upon Ragnarok. Notice how I never mentioned Marvel in any of my texts and there are no images of Marvel nor Hiddleston. Just like in my "Sacrifice to Thor" piece, which has nothing to do with Marvel, but with Thor, the norse God of Thunder and Strenght, son of Odin, father of Magni and Modi, wielder of Mjollnir, he who kills the great serpent Jörmungandr.
Also, again, regarding feelings: it is completely valid that you don't sense any of those emotions in the piece. There is no universal way to convey emotions whatsoever through art. I do feel all of those described feelings, so do plenty of other people. It's only natural that every person feels something different.

Of course there is. That is why the word universal exists to describe certain things.

This is a subreddit all about all the forms of Loki and the new Loki TV Show.". Notice the "About all the forms of Loki". So...
Again, regarding feelings. Like you yourself said, "(...) the word universal exists to describe certain things.". Certain things indeed. Feelings are universal, but the way one feels them or the way one communicates them is not.
This is my last comment about the matter, since I FEEL (:P) everything has been explained more than enough. I hope that you liked the music even if you didn't sense Loki in there and invite you to listen to other compositions of mine!
