I saw a video of a dad with his daughter both black and the daughter was covering this song and the dad was cheering her up and this girls eyes were so proud, you could see how loved she felt and it was the most beautiful thing. I'm white but I cried. I know how insecure I felt in my teenage years but I can't imagine how insecure you probably feel with racism still being a problem, with most advertisements around you promoting white beauty and most people around you being white (I'm from a smaller city in Germany so just a very very small percentage is black).
