    I like both men but I really think Covington wins the rematch. I just saw so many chances Covington had to win that fight. Also he was training at a gym where everyone hated him now he is somewhere where everyone likes him. Very impressive he went undefeated so long training in a hostile environment. Definitely won’t be easy though for him to win that’s for damn sure Usman is a savage

Not telling you this for self promotion, but if you look up "Kamaru Usamn the art of wrestling" watch the first 15 seconds. They're a mirror of each other, from their style, mindset, and even upbringing. Two sides of the same coin.

    What’s crazy is Khabib is bigger than Covington but Khabib kills himself to make 155. So he can avoid the best wrestlers. If Covington cannot beat Usman he should go to 155 because no one would be able to stop him not even Khabib if he came back.

    Yeah, if there’s anyone that can beat Usman it’s Colby, but highly unlikely. Usman is on a level that no one else is. Usman outclasses Colby in every category and has exponentially improved where as Colby as good as he is, hasn’t shown much improvement. He most likely won’t beat Usman in standup and will definitely not beat Usman wrestling. He needs a divine hand or one hell of a strategy.

    This time it is going to be a wrestling match, I feel Colby will out wrestle Kamaru but kamaru has 50-75% chance of catching him in a sub.Colby has more volume striking so if he mixes it up with grappling he has a good chance to win over usmans one or two power crosses and jabs.Colby will win if he wrestles early or kicks his injured leg, takes the power off him and grinds him down.If usman beats him bad he is def hall of fame goat for sure.

    usman gets more credit than he deserves and colby does not get as much as he deserves. first and foremost, usman did not want this fight, and was very public about it. the rumors are that he almost fired ali because he couldnt get him out of it. second is in the previous fight, usman and the ref had to be against covington. multiple things went usmans way, including his dishonorable use of a liver kick to take time faking a groin strike. there was also an eye poke from covington where usman was then showing the doctor the wrong eye, there was the eye poke from usman to covington that goddard simply ignored, there where illegal shots to the back of covingtons head, and a bad stoppage by a ref with an obvious favorite. all of that aside look at usmans last 2 opponents over his last three fights, masvidal, burns, masvidal. masvidal is a lightweight that is obviously past his prime, and should have never been scheduled for a second fight after the non-competitive first fight. burns was an emotional wreck and was gassed after 2 rounds, then got ko'ed by a jab. if we look at covingtons last fight is was woodley who got his ribs broken and verbally tapped - a guy who usman took to a decision to take the belt in his fight before covington 1. ppl are sleeping on covington, and the more they build up usman, whose family "escaped" nigeria, though thats the soil he chooses to represent, the better colby will look if he wins.

    • @justinclary3115
      @justinclary3115 Před 2 lety +1

      Well said. Usman cheated on TUF and cheated twice against Colby. Usman only wanted masvidal, Chiesa and Diaz on his plate for the rest of his career.
      Usman wanted no part of Colby in a rematch. Probably pretty scary for Usman to fight the guy he robbed two years from with cheating.
      Colby is going to really hurt him and make him say uncle

      I agree, only way I see Colby winning is if he out pace Usman and gets him tired. But usman striking is better, stronger, more powerful physically, more powerful punching. He has gotten so much better since the Colby fight, look sensational his last two fights and Colby only fought once against a broken Woodley.
