Did you use any specialised heat proof materials for the fire place?
Nope, fire place is just one of those fake ones with a heater in it. So it didn't require much to work right there.
How many sheets of MDF did you use?
Nice. I may copy it to the dimensions of my 117” wide recessed wall for my 75’ LG LED TV. Need to hire someone to do it ASAP. How much would something like this cost to get built in a Houston area home?
Houston Alaska or the smaller state? :-) This cost the customer 12k for us to do here in Alaska

It was a mix of stains to get the color she wanted. Dont remember which ones we mixed.
