People like this guy deserve to be in a parliament as ministers, ANC just elected irrelevant people in the ministry position, As south Africans we have to strive for a better government, there are lot of South Africans with potential and skills to lead South Africa, Am tired of ANC to allow the minority to manipulate them because of money. South Africans let take the government by force, we don't have to allow the imperialist to rule our own country.

If people have such a big issue with companies which employ foreigners, why do you still buy from them? If people are so concerned about being patriotic, why are still buying all the cheap Chinese imports instead of goods from SA companies ?? We want our African neighbours to buy from us so we can have jobs yet we also want to treat their citizens badly when they visit our country.

What a stupid question. Why would a civilian comment on the state of Lindela? The laws are very clear Xoli and the guest speaker is correct there is a crisis in South Africa and we will soon see the scenes that came out of Kenya. From the video shown I could count at least 40 workers. That’s 40 South African households with an average of 4 persons. That’s 160 South Africans with no idea of where their next meal will come from. The issues these foreign nationals have back home is not the responsibility of the South African government nor should it come at the detriment of South Africans. What is it that the employers really admire from foreigners that locals don't have? There's a number of reasons why South African employers choose foreign workers than locals. 1 work ethics. No employer want someone who threatens them with violence or rude to them. 2 time-line. All jobs have a dead line especially construction. As an employer and you may have mixed some chemicals that hardens in a short time but when you ask locals to push a bit and have their break in an hour's time or less in most cases locals will be like no, its my time and i have to seat. That delays the job and cost money and time as the employer may have to go and buy more chemicals. Locals dont come to work after weekend, that's a disease and clients have targets. 3) Drunkenness at work. 4)laziness mostly in construction. Complaining too much about how heavy the job is but forgetting that is the reason they are hired. They forget that if it wasn't going to be heavy i would do it myself. 5)Rudeness is a problem in restaurants or hospitality industry in general. We can't have people who talk back to clients, they are the same people bringing us business. 6) South Africans don'tlike working overtime, weekend or holidays but farm produce don' t have any of that. Produce would spoil because someone doesn't prefer to work on weekend or holiday.7) I'm sure we all want to employ someone who knows what they want. Hiring someone who came specifically for work from far away lands is like finding a needle in the middle of the ocean.
This is one side of the story why employers prefer foreign people as workers than locals
1)Most companies employ foreign nationals to avoid paying tax, uif, insurance.
    2) They employ foreigners so that they won't pay them accordingly
