At the world's most beautiful palace: Versailles

The Palace of Versailles has to be one of the most beautiful place in the whole world. Within the walls of the palace contains hundred of rooms adorned with paintings, majestic ceilings, painted doors and glass windows. The most beautiful room of all is the hall of mirrors which has mirrored walls and light chandeliers that reflect sunshine from the windows into the hallway.
While the insides of the palace is majestic, my favourite has got to be the outdoor garden.
In front of the palace sits multiple water fountains, lush green fields and a large lake spanning at least half a kilometre in length.
The sight of people rowing boats, families enjoying their picnics or simply lying at the banks for an afternoon nap makes a idyllic scene. Multiple water fountains sends streams of water high up in the air to the sound of classical music. Beautifully manicured bushes bring relief to visitors as they shade them from the hot sun. Grand marble and golden statues guard the paths, as if to make sure no visitor disrupts the order and symmetry in the garden.
The atmosphere at the palace is extremely magical and for the whole day, I felt like I was part of a storybook scene.
While french food does not appeal to my taste buds, french gardens are my absolute favourite.
