- Bike was running badly at full throttle. No power. So needed to remove and inspect the carbs. Found that too big main jet of 280 was fitted. Swapped for a standard 220 jet. The engine and exhausts are standard.

Are those carb Hose clamps the same size front and back ?
No, I don't think so.
Very good,, how are you with the electrics on these bikes, iv checked out the loom diagram but can't make any sense of it , keep up the good work 👍🏻
Thanks. I was lucky, all electrics on the bike are in good condition and work fine.
I have a yds7 runs idles and rides great, but I have to turn the fuel tap to stop position every time I stop as the carbs will fill and overflow, even got into the exhausts, and will never start with a kick I've had to bump start her down a long hill, what would you think would be the most likely cause for this problem.
As you explain I would think the float needles are the issue. You might have to check them.
🏍👍
Thanks
HOW DID U SET FLOAT LEVEL I SEE USING A VERNIER BUT COULD NOT SE WHAT U USED AS REFERNACE
Hi, sorry for the late answer. I usually measure between the gasket surface and the top of the float. Notice the spring in the needle should not be compressed.
What mm do you use to float
21 mm as in the manual.
