It went on for 10 years! 10 years! Did not either her or John Philips have a lucid moment in all that time, the whole thing is just so sick, I never did drugs and know nothing about them, I can't wrap my head around the whole thing but I wish her peace now
Mackenzie Phillips actually looks better now with the work done than she ever has. Either that, or confession is good for the soul. She looks softer and more elegant. For all that she was never really attractive, she did/does have really pretty eyes. Who knows what really occurred with her and her own father; whether some of it is actually real and the rest delusional or all real or all delusion. Her family is split on the story. Her step-mothers angrily disbelieve it. The truth rests somewhere in-between, as it usually does.
Where was her mom ? Heroine addict dad taking care of a beautiful young girl. He was a drug addict. The devil was in control of that man. The mother should have been involved.
As a survivor of abuse, I just wish these people said these things when their 1alleged1 attacker was alive to defend themselves, as I am not naive enough to take things on board just because it;s a good story or it pings my heart strings

One of the youtube docs regarding mama and papas - she's like in her 40's+ she is at party for her dad and shes laughing😁😂, happy😃 and praising her dad and looking at him😍 lovingly. Did this happen? Who knows. If they were both using drugs 💉& out of it- God forbid who knows. Did this book 📓bring in possibly alot of money💵? Didn't her sister promote her album when being interviewed about the this abuse. This is a serious matter, yet the sister starts singing during this interview? In one of Mackenzie's interviews she's like a love struck fan as she proudly and excitedly talks about her and mick Jagger - I believe ( ironically she & mick resemble each other)-- she says, I believe they dated or I dont know... Point is, this is such a sad sad horrible thing that happened. Should have never happened or continued consensually at a way older age for both -as "she states". This according to her happened while both adults. She knew right from wrong and she should have removed herself from her dad's life immediately after the first time and got treatment. Talked to family, doctor, friend, go to detox rehabilitation, etc., seek GOD🙏 and ask for forgiveness🤲. Should have sought treatment and confronted while dad was alive, vs making$ on such a personal horrible abuse. Why not seek therapy quietly, write a book under alias if this brings peace. But writing horrific things about a deceased person, for what reason? God Bless her and give her peace 🙏
When you are on drugs especially dope you are in a haze and don't know reality from a dream so that is why she wrote her book. And she is taking responsibility for everything
