Actually it's over 400,000 because they covered expensive hotels and flights and all that stuff as well as paid them cash for their speaking dues. Which would be fine if WE had nothing to do with the government.

For 48 events over 10 years, which is roughly 4k per event. I wouldn't say that is too crazy for a family to receive 20k/year for doing around 5 events per year. It doesn't really scream corruption to me but is obviously a bit of a moral gray area. I'm sure most Canadians would sign up for being flown around, put up in nice hotels and being paid 4k for a night of pandering for charity

@derek Hills It's not a matter of time, it's a matter of a Liberal member distracting, annoying, and holding up a Conservative member. Then they take up further time by explaining their, "error", and taking up more daily Parliamentry time. Even though Pierre will eventually get his full time and questions in, the full time in the day will be further eroded each time they do this resulting in even fewer questions that the Liberals will be able to avoid.

I do agree... but this isnt a court of law .. it is a pony show i doubt anyrhing will be made of this .... but it depends on their crimes.... some crimes have no time restraints. Hut if they were just a regular citizen commiting these crimes. We'd be prosecuted to fullest extent of the law...property seized and who knows what else.... an idea for their toronto properties we paid for.. move torontos homeless into those buildings

Pol has the skills of Republicans. Master of misinformation. His record speaks for itself. Check it out instead of just taking what he says as truth. The brothers gave him a breakdown of payments. For what its worth if Peter Mackay won the leadership vote vs otoole the conservatives might be able to topple Trudeau. But being too stuck to the far right politicians will keep Trudeau in another term. Otoole will be like his predecessor... a dead chapter in the partys history. Republicans in the states are going to learn the same lesson. Gotta pull back slightly to center right or you will be irrelevant.
