D-Wade averaged 30+ while being top 3 in MVP AND DPOY. He was elite on both ends. He would routinely dunk on 7 footers AND block 7 footers at the rim at 6’4. And he was a closer with the game winners to show. He just didn’t shoot the 3 well, but he knew that and he played to his strengths (drives, mid range, FTs). He won a chip as the number 1 and won another 2 as a number 2.
Harden is an offensive juggernaut with all the skills. He elevated his teams that’s why he has an MVP. Mike D’Antoni and his style of play was perfect for Harden like Steve Nash. But, like with Nash, those teams got alot of regular season wins but fizzled in the playoffs. Would Harden have a ring if not for Golden State? Maybe. Maybe not. It’s hard to play what ifs.
Wade had Shaq, LeBron, Chris Bosh, Ray Allen, & Jimmy Butler.
Harden had Dwight, Russ, CP3, KD, & Kyrie.
Both played with elite talents.
And side note:
D-Wade should’ve won in the playoffs vs the Hawks in 2009, but Teague saying Joe Johnson was going neck and neck with D-Wade is not true. Joe was a hooper but was greatly outplayed individually in that series:

These guys never get the facts straight when making comparisons. They say whatever makes their opinion sound more valid. You can’t compare Hardens Rockets teams to those Heat teams from 07-10.
First off, they only went to the WCF twice in seven years. The Heat also went to the ECF twice from 03-06. Secondly, those teams were much more talented and complete than those Heat teams from 07-10. That 14-15 Rockets team had Dwight, Ariza, Josh Smith, Jason Terry, Brewer, Motiejunas, Terrance Jones, etc. We all know who was on that 17-18 team. Wade carried some mediocre rosters to the playoffs in both 08-09 and 09-10. Rookie Beasley, Rookie Chalmers, old J.O’Neal and Marion, Richardson, Daequan Cook, Joel Anthony, Dorell Wright.
Lastly, Wade and Joe Johnson never went back and forth. The sole time they faced eachother in the playoffs it went 7 games and Joe averaged 17 on the series while Wade averaged 30 😂

lets be real, after 06', wade's best teammates before lebron were a washed up jermaine o neal, a past-his-prime shawn marion, and a high af michael beasley. None of those guys come close to what harden got to play with in houston. Hell, houston D Howard was eons better then all the guys i just mentioned previously. And harden got to play with CP3/westbrook during his final years in Houston. So this notion that harden and wade had similarly talented teams during their primes is asinine. Give wade Howard or cp3/westbrook and see if he doesnt wing another ring with that talent.
