Good tutorial,I have exactly like this but its seem not to be working with my dmx stage light. What could be the cause?
Are the individual fixtures chained together directly from the controller or is there an intermediate signal splitter for each fixture?
Could you adjust music mode sensitivity? Also, would a dmx controller be needed if I just want music mode and master-slave for all lights?

I have the same controller but when I put my 4 par lights to auto color fade ( channel 6 I think ? ) the lights don't stay in sync for very long . I'm using a terminator . The lights aren't expensive .
Any thoughts ?

Many thnx for the explanation, I try to get along with it, but one option (fader) does not work at all, as you know there is a Speed fader and a FadeTime fader, but only the FadeTime fader does not work, it does not influence the light show whatsoever, the transitions are hard, there is no way to create the fade effect....please advise....thnx

Great tutorial! Is it possible to manually change scenes and have a smooth fade transition? But only when you click to the next scene.
thats when the speed faders come in to the play. the two singled out faders by the program buttons.
Where I don't get is the banks. Did you also program the light on bank 2?

If I have 8 lights how do I program a chase with different colors? I am having a very hard time understanding this setup. Do the channels on the lights need to be set to something different? What address should b given to each led
We are looking for LED Pars for our small church building and possibly youth/kids dept. ceiling height is approx. 11ft. I need mostly white but would like to mix some colors for speaker and music lighting. What LED PARS do you recommend to use with this Rockforce controller? and also can you recommend cables needed?ThanksDC

So now you have a loop. Isnt that a big problem when performing songs that has a drop in it? Can you run a chase and click scenes in other banks at the same time to show a stroboscope for example
One confusing thing on every video is when a scanner button is referred to as a fixture. When in fact you can have multiple fixtures on one scan because it’s channel 1-16 for scanner 1. I have a 13 channel mini spider and so for my flame machine it’s set to channel 14-15. Maybe that seems easier for some people to break up lights by starting at channel 17 for the next light but that leaves empty space of unused channels

Is it possible to create a pause in a chase? Like fixtures changing scenes in the chase then pause for a second to hold their current color/position etc for a second or 2? Is it possible to add the same scene multiple times in a chase to create a pause like that?
I cheated this a little and just made several steps which are the same- so as it cycles through 8 steps (one on each beat) the last three steps (beats) are exactly the same. In appearance it would look like green/red/green/red/green/white/white/white if that makes any sense. The last three beats of that sequence are just white lights staying on.

Hey! There are a couple different ways to do this - by setting different scenes, setting all the different lights to different DMX Addresses and to just also sync them together through a Sound Activated Mode if all the lights have a built in Microphone - we we will make more videos that expound on different DMX topics!

How to delete a particular bank and chase???
Hey! you can either overwrite Chases, or you can delete all the scenes in a bank by: 1. Press and Hold the PROGRAM and the BANK DOWN buttons while turning the power off. 2. Turn the controller on. This process is irreversible and all the scenes will be set to 0.

I bought this controller, but for some reason is not controlling my lights. Is there any other video that explains the connection to light fixtures. What kind of light fixtures were used for this video?
you have to assign the addresses on each light fixture. download the chauvet obey 4 manual (you can google that) and follow along. this controller, the obey 4 and the chinese generic version DMX 512 are very similar.
