VVVVVV 3DS Hidden Song - Predestined Fate Remixed

- This is a hidden song in the videogame VVVVVV released yesterday (December 29, 2011) on the 3DS eShop in the US.
It is accessed by getting to the Final Level, starting it, then doing some backtracking. The regular version of Predestined Fate will slowly fade away and this remixed version will start playing. :D
Song title is unknown at this moment because the album containing the remix is unreleased (will be 1.5 weeks from now though!) so I am temporarily just calling it Predestined Fate Remixed in the meantime.
The song was made by Magnus Pålsson (Souleye), the game is made by Terry Cavanagh, licensed to Nicalis for production on the Nintendo 3DS.

When i beat VVVVVV Again on PC i heard this again.

Following the PPPPPP pattern of the soundtrack album, and because the menu music is named Presenting VVVVVV, I personally like to call this song Protecting VVVVVV. I think it just fits in with the story.

I didn't have to backtrack, it just started playing as soon as I got to the Final Level. However, that didn't stop the MASSIVE EARGASM. I wish this were in the in-game jukebox SO hard.

The remix of Predestined Fate is my favorite song in the versions that have it. Also the end picture (the picture on the video) slightly scares me.

(I play on PC, and this automatically starts playing when I enter the final level, up until DIY V Repair, of course.)
The part with a million circles and you had to make a path literally PISSED me off.

One complaint I have about the game is how much they used Positive Force. You could've used Paced Energy for the gravitron, and Piercing the Sky for the final level after you activate the terminal.
Positive Force makes sense in the final level, though, as it uses a similar melody as Pushing Onwards. It's kind of a musical book end.
Positive Force makes sense for the ending, but I still think Piercing the Sky works best for The Tower.
This also plays for the final challenge in the Steam version, and it plays on its own without any secret maneuvers or anything required. :)

This song was missing from the PC version, apparently the fixed that with a recent update.
On the 3ds version , you only have to backtrack if you're playing the level through the time trial. In the normal level, this music plays as soon as you enter the area.

Song makes me think of all the crew except Viridian playing this.

This song just plays on its own on steam version. Which came to my extreme surprise too, having owned just the regular pc version for a while, then getting a new computer (lost 6v) so I installed steam version. Rest of story is self explanatory.
I was so used to one of the early versions thanks to DRM and the Humble Bundle. Just bought it again on Steam and WOW. The updates, and this song!!!!

@Alcest9870 Actually, the version you describe is the normal version of Predestined Fate, which plays during the two intermission levels. The normal version usually plays during the first half of the Final Level as well (before Captain Veridian turns off the Dimensional Stability Generator), but if you go one screen right from the start and backtrack to the start of the level, the remixed version will start to play. It's VERY noticably different from the original version of the song.

Just noticed this for the first time yesterday, when completing the 3DS version for the first time.

It's actually on your way to the "Last" level. It's after you save the 5th crew member, it will just start playing. Dunno what's so "Hidden" about this song nor what need of backtracking you mentioned is involved.

On my little brother's tablet, it played right when he got to the Final Level.
On one playthrough, the picture at the end was different to this one.
I know people are saying this is the Pulsen edit, but this is a slowed down version of it. It bothers me this specific version isn't in any of the soundtracks..

It was added into the PC version as well.

I just got this music first time, and assumed it was the default.

@MatthewPZC @Dobkera @EvignoRealm @Alcest9870 Hmm, after some discussion with the game's creator on the forums for the game, it seems that you are all correct - it is supposed to play by default. It seems there's an unkown bug that makes it not play for me until I backtrack.

The only thing that sucks about the song is that you can't play it in the jukebox (neither on 3ds OR ios), and there is no option to play the final level onless you do time trial!!!!!11
