TDT, the Facet of Solitude interaction isn't because of Thorn's poison but because it's calculated based on mag size, and thorn's base is 9. Any 9 or lower mag size 140 can do the same thing.
5th one made me convinced bungie didn't just want to break Titan's kneecaps with prismatic but just straight up remove the legs

@@scorchinorphan1687 nah instead they are allowing the already oppressive PvP class to be able to benefit from it.. I swear I was playing IB and every match it was 4-5 hunters per team
Number 7 truly is a testament to the lengths Bungie will go to minimize work, hell the sole reason we don't have kinetic glaives is that they don't wanna make a specific animation for them in the commendation screen.

Solitude does work with other 140s. Hawkmoon, anything with 9 shots or lower, and drop mag HCs. Some of these are more consistent than others but they do work

That has to be one of the most creative ways of referring to someone dying that I've ever heard.
Gambit is decent but there's 3 things holding it back
1: People have negative games sense and it's annoying carrying 3 matches just to have that 1 guy die with 14 motes 3 times.
2: Add a role selection at the beginning of gambit matches, players can pick any 1 of the original set of gambit prime buffs. Your team could have 4 collectors if you wanted that for some reason.
3: Add new maps or even relics to the gamemode
moral of the story: Bungie really hate titans

@ZlPPENHAFT ever since they started 3.0, everything has been made in favor of hunters. When titans could get a radiant buff with sunspots before solar 3.0, took that out of sunspots because of loreley using the class abilities. And then had the nerve to give hunters a class abilities that gives them radiant. When they made arc 3.0, one of the main ideas of it was to be overcharged and moving fast, and nothing moves faster than a melee that you have to stop dead in your track and slowly charge up. Btw, how were hunters having a hard time using gathering storm but not silence and squall? And don't get me started on how many times void titans got nerfed. The only reason people think void titan is still good is because of peregrine greaves. When they were making strand, grapple was suppose to be a hunter exclusive ability. Which is apparent given all the things you can do with hunters strand super. And now prismatic, I don't need to explain that. But I guess stating facts is still whining to you, right?

I’ve been using the thorn with solitude and I’ve noticed that the poison thing that gives bonus burn damage doesn’t drop on kill, it always drops a tangle
5 is based on what button you press. On Strand Titan, you dont click the melee button. You click the SHOOT button

it not always instant kill so be aware the enemy still can kill you before die

It’s powerful because it’s not well known but once people find out it might end up getting nerfed
Tho I still think clones and smokes is more op as radar is more important

@@SepticEmpire it's ok but it wont make me stop using knucklehead radar with 2 in-flight compensator mods and blink. i use grapple to attack but also evade bad situation so for me khepris is too much situational and anyway usually after a grapple melee i dodge and clone do the rest of the job while i take care of someone else if he isnt alone.

Facet of Blessing isn't working for a lot. It doesn't work with Berserker Super and it doesn't work with Consecration or the Thunderclap melee. I have the exotic class item with Spirit of Contact and that proc's with everything including the Strand Melee's BUT while in Berserker Super it doesn't. So Blessing and "powered melee effects" like Spirit of Contact aren't working with the Super even though it's light melee attack is indistinguishable from the non-Super version.
Hard to keep track of everything already mentioned, but a shout, similar to the auto rifle tip, with renewal grasp if you throw a duskfield on a fireteam in a raid you will get about 1/4 to 1/3 of your darkness transcendant bar filled. I believe its because maybe the frost armor is coded as negative damage or something since you are essentially giving hp/dr to you and your allies.
ahhhh, that explains my super wiffing the way it did yesterday, i was about to use my super to teleport and get a full 6 man team wipe, but right before it actually teleported i was looking at a slight wall and i ended up not teleporting at all and then died lol and i was like bro what? now i know why
4:36 fun fact, this can explain a somewhat recent spicy clips where a melee took a storm edge out of the teleport
If you use tessellation with mothkeeper's wraps on hunter, your tessellation will be arc no matter the grenade element, so you can use it on strand with widow's silk to have up to three arc tessellation charges.

The glacier grenade vs. Storm’s Edge thing is pretty cool
I love using khepris sting in pvp. Not for the grapple punch, cause that is highly situational and you have to have both the melee and grapple charged and it does not always 1 shot. But the buff khepris sting provides is amazing, extra damage and literal wall hacks as well as pretty good up time . Also, it paired with scatter grenades makes it great for area denial. OP in my opinion.
for the new hunter super you can also easily just jump over the hunter as they toss the knife to avoid each of there attacks. been doing it all week with both blink on the hunter and triple jump. real easy to juke that super as long as you have vertical space and react right away.
Slight correction: solitude works with OG Lunas (bc of drop mag) to go invis, and MAYBE Hawkmoon
Kepri grapple melee 🤤 glad people know about it now
this may end up in a spicy clips from the titan perspective, but I got mad in iron banner and threw on a sweaty set, including storm's edge, I cast my super a few frames after the titan cast twilight arsenal, they killed me mid blink with an axe
Fun fact: in vanilla D2, my friend discovered stormtrance *could* proc the healing from karnsteins. This was patched about a month into launch, and is likely why a lot of other supers don't proc melee-based effects

The supers that count as melee kills also proc assasins cowl on the exotic class items for invisibility.
#4 aka facet of solitude and stylish executioner does work with other 140s(although I believe you've gotta hit all 3 shots at max firerate) Hawkmoon and the old version of luna's howl both can trigger the synergy. I'm pretty sure it's something with firerate to mag size ratio
Yes, the perk has different trigger ranges based on the RPM of the gun and the amount of rounds it has. I think the 120 cutoff is 7, for instance. It's very finicky and makes some options you'd think would be auto-includes in the build, such as Crimson or other "burst fire" weapons, way less reliable due to their large mag sizes.
Crazy how Blade fury doesn’t receive healing on kills despite the fact it’s just frenzied blade on steroids🤦🏾♂️
Another thing is that Glacial Quake’s light attack will proc knockout and even give you the benefits such as the chunk of health from kills. Not sure why, but I think it has to do with how the super is using a beefed up version of shiver strike as its light attack thus it’s still listing the Titan as using a melee charge. Still doesn’t explain why bladefury doesn’t proc knockout let alone why Fist of Havoc from the NATIVE SUBCLASS THAT KNOCKOUT COMES FROM doesn’t proc it either but we will never know and im pretty sure bungie just hates titans at this point.

I don't think that solitude procs because of the poison on Thorn, the overpenetrationg part of the gun might actually be the reason, unless it's confirmed that thorn poison counts as precision damage.
As someone with just under 700 hours who never plays crucible, I love the Kavostov. It's gotten me to play iron banner and actually have a good time. Dieing to a Kav doesn't feel too bad when you've got one of your own

@@gaiusoptus4417 nah, there are plenty of good weapons to counter it both exotic and not because its perk rolls are terrible along with its range, a suros regime, monte carlo, or hard light is a perfect example, or a gr riposte or gnawing hunger with chambered comp and steady rounds even, i even have a 600rpm unending tempest with 25imp 48rng and 66stb steadyrounds/chamberedcomp that feels just like it but does more damage because it has target lock and 4 more impact and 1 extra range tick, its mostly just final shape hype behind it or people have never built a 600 rpm frame ar with stability...as someone with 700hours who always plays crucible my tapthetrigger/target lock riposte melts khvostov players.
I didn't know that support frame boost was applied to allies too lol, that's kinda busted. Unless it's a bug

You have to have your Smoke charged and land your Grapple melee. Since Grapple has a knockback component, you could potentially knock the target out of the Smoke AoE and they'll stop taking damage, letting them limp away with a sliver of HP.
Toss on Facet of Courage to make this more consistent, or make sure you only try it against people who are near objects to shorten the knockback distance.
The only thing from this video i didn't know, wasn't even a point mentioned it was right at the end when you completed a pathfinder objective in a private match.. God i hate pathfinder so much
