My favorite thing(s) about Magic is the sense of all reality lost, you give yourself 1, 2, maybe 10 hours of fun gameplay that isn’t a screen blinding you. Magic also is a great place for friendship and closeness to new people. My absolute favorite thing about Magic is when you finish that new deck, and your first when with that deck is just so triumphant and heart warming. Thank you Joey Moss for the amazing tutorial, and video!

More than that. You could use the cards on the playmat to track hidden information; in this case you could only track which lands are still in your deck but with different cards you would be gaining unfair advantage by not having to remember what's still in your deck... or what cards to name with an Extraction... or what options you could tutor for... I hate to rag on such a nice guy but this is not a play mat and nobody should spend money and cards doing it. If you're really that concerned a better option would be bring some Windex and a rag and clean the table before you play.
I hate to agree but some people could get confused. But the how to process is great and maybe you could use different type of cards

You could use the same process to make Magic card Venetian blinds, or custom binders for schoolwork, or anything else you could think of.
Or just use the magic back as the face you see: a good way to repurpose draft chaff!
I feel like relieving confusion is as simple as blacking out part of the borders of the cards to distinguish between what's in play and what's on the mat and/or just using a mat with different colors than those in your deck.
What I definitely enjoy most about Magic is the social aspect. I love getting together with friends, or going to events, to play, and talk, and have fun. I love being part of the Mtg community, and am quite glad you are too!

I love it because I recently moved to a new town as I have many times before. And honestly MTG helped me meet the friends i have now, and just helped me over come that “new kid” anxiety

You're the bomb! I think the best thing I've enjoyed about MTG is the fact that it has brought me and my kids closer together by having something we all love to learn play together. This is especially fantastic with my son since he lives out of town with his mom and I only get to see him for approximately 60 days out of the year so we get to talk about new cards and strategies over the phone and build decks over FaceTime and play the decks when he comes to town. MTG bonding! Yay!
My favorite part is the feeling you get opening a pack and reading through all the new cards. It's just so satisfying to learn what the cards I've never seen before do and think about how I can use them
what i like most, is being able to spend time with my brothers, we all share our collections with each other, and just have a blast, at our local gaming store were referred to as the three musketeers lol
The biggest thing I love about magic is the connection it gives people. when you go to a place where people are playing magic everyone has a common interest and it’s awesome to be able to just hang out all day playing a game you love with people that love that same game as well.
My favorite part about magic is how you can do almost anything you want. Such as different combos synergies or just piles of your favorite cards. It makes the magic community very unique and everyone can have what they like show in their own deck.
My favorite thing about MTG is the artwork on the cards followed closely by the different deck techs people come up with.
I like the interaction between players and the unique cards and variety of versions it has.
What I love most about magic is that we can all come together and just have fun, it creates a kind of judge free zone, where we can all be nerds and have fun together. We can all be ourselves, just because we have this one thing in common

Man, I just love the community. I always used to stay by myself, never liked being social or interacting with other people, I always was just by myself. But when I started MTG, all of that changed. I now go to FNMs and Standard Showdowns every week, and the guys at my game store are now great friends with me. It really opened me up, it changed my life.
My favorite part about MTG, is the community. The bonds I have formed from playing magic will never break. I love being able to make friends with people i just met who have a love for my favorite game.
My friends and I all got into mtg growing up and it's one of the things that keeps up coming back to the kitchen table and spending time together.

What I love about magic is that there are so many unique people in one big community. As well if it wasn’t for my brother who started to play before he passed I wouldn’t have ever been a part of this community and for him I thankful for that.
What I like about magic is the friendship I make along the way and the people I meet they are amazing and helpful I also like how people help me learn along the way I have only been playing for half a year and am placing 2nd in tournaments because of people helping me still to this day

Oh and I never told you what I love about this game. I love the creativity of the players and those of whom make incredible decks and combos in every format. The possibilities are endless and I hope to be one of those people who can make a meta deck and lead the way in this exciting game.
The thing I love about Magic is the community and togetherness and happiness that it brings. I recently started playing with my husband and just to see his excitement about me playing and the game itself is really great. He grew up with magic and as story has it, he learned how to read because of it. So being able to experience this game with him and see what it means to him is truly great. I have met some great people at the local shop who are so passionate about the game and are so helpful. They can go on and on about cards that I have no idea what they are talking about, but the compassion behind it is just wonderful.
I love when people can come together and play a game without judging them. The community is great. My friend got me into magic and I’m in love with the game. Ive got a commander deck that i will be ordering in a couple days and I’d love to have a mat for it.

The best thing I love about magic isnt the varying game modes, the build-your-own strategy, it isnt the amazing artwork, none of that. It's the fantastic community and the sheer ingenuity that it shows with what we can do, this video being a perfect example.
I love playing the game with friends and the art accompanied by the flavor text. And the dinosaurs I love the dinosaurs.

Yeah it really depends. Went to a draft the other day with a friend. The 3 guys I played against litterly taught me nothing while I say that all 3 of the players that my friend played against explained him alot. We are both inexpierienced players...

I love the camaraderie of the game, whether I am playing tabletop with some friends, or at a tournament, everyone who plays is genuinely there to have fun, and help you any way they can.
My favorite part of MTG is the awesome community. Everyone is helpful and you can connect and be social with other players.
I enjoy how it makes you think and also the artist are amazing.

What I love the Most is Sharing the Love of the Game with My Kid. Left MTG during the Tempest Block and Never Looked Back Untill about 6 months ago my 13yr old Son brought home some cards , and We have been cracking packs and Home brewing decks ever since, It Truly has Been Awesome!
I honestly enjoy the wholesome community I've encountered. People are always so nice, helpful, etc. When I started playing, I had nothing good. All trash. The guys at my shop ended up making me two standard decks and a commander deck! It's just the best part of my life.

I love this! I had no idea you made these! I love the game because I like it to chess, but you get to play with 60 pieces that do whatever you want.
What I enjoy about MTG is the actual magic that i brings to the community. The creativity of decks, the sheer enjoyment and thrill of facing someone, and excitement of opening up those delicious packs. Also that new card smell. But most importantly? CUTTING EXPENSIVE CARDS IN HALF WITH AN AXE

My favorite thing about magic is the aspect of just sitting down, and having quality time with my friends, I don’t really get to have that that often and mtg has opened up a world of new people to do it with. That’s what I love about this beautiful game

Magic is amazing, playing the game is fun, brewing decks is fun, meeting new random people through the game when not even at the lgs is awesome. Also, as an artist myself, I love to apreciate and collect the great art that illustrates the cards. Beautiful work on that playmat btw!

I always wasted to see it to see how you make them. My favorite thing about playing magic is the amazing friends you make as well the amazing CZcams's you find link your self .Magic has seen me though a lot of good and bad times and I will always come back to it. Lots of love PLA
The fact that there is no one way to play the game. If you want to stop people from touching the you can do it! Destroy them in one turn? You got it! An entire deck based around joke cards? Why not! The diversity and unknown possiblities of MTG keep the game fresh and enjoyable.
Imagine somebody doing this with vintage Sol Rings.
Or Rudy from Alpha Investments doing this with all of his Black Lotuses

The one thing I like about MTG is that it has brought me closer with my kid and other family members. We all get together and play every weekend and have fun family style.
I most enjoy the players who come to Friday night magic and flaunt the thousands of dollars they've dropped and how their deck is better than yours. And now they can show you they mean business when they sit down at the table with a playmat containing every Cryptic Command in every language, ever.
And then you beat them with a janky budget deck BadBoyGaming told you about!

One thing I love about magic is that I am the youngest person at the card shop that I play at being 14 and everyone who played with me has patience with me , they would answer any question I had, and would teach me the game as a community.
Yoooo! The best thing i love about MTG is it has brought my family closer. I got my wife, brother-in-law, his wife, and all the nephews playing. So its long nights of mulitplayer games!

My favorite part of magic is drawing at the beginning of the game, knowing that you'll have a good start. I play commander, so looking around at this point to see everyone else's faces is so rewarding, as I know I have that turn where it'll all happen.
What I love about mtg is how you can make decks that show your personality, all the mechanics in mtg, and all the great mtg youtubers like you!!

My Favourite thing about MTG is getting every deck I make banned by the playgroup, the store, and even the club at school. Yeah no your 20$ infect deck didn't help with that one bit.
The reason I like magic the gathering is because I have heart issues and I can play any contact sports at all so this is the one thing I do in my free time that I love doing and it has help me make so many friends and has introduced me to such an amazing community that I love and am very happy to be a part of
Tbh I love MTG because of my depression and anxiety. I've been dealing with it for a long time and I was introduced to it by a friend who suffers from it as well. It's helped me make friends I never thought I'd meet and also get out socially which is the HARDEST part by far of depression. Now I have 30 plus friends at a store that opened up this fall around the corner and even text the owner regularly.
Our store is so friendly that after our Friday draft multiple people gave us cards after to give to my friend who was getting back into MTG. He got stabbed (long story) and had to sell his entire collection to pay bills.
Now him and two more new friends we got into it are coming over for intro packs and MTG Saturday.
I'm 34, just started playing in late November and couldn't be more thankful to the game and the community that welcomed me with open arms.
I couldn't be more thankful for MTG being introduced to me during my darkest times.

Very cool man, nice job! I love playing MTG for many, many reasons but the two reasons that stand out the most is 1: all the fun times and memories playing the game gives me and my friends, and 2: I taught my wife how to play the game, and watching her spark ideas for decks now and write them down, and then kick my butt with them. I love the teaching others how to play the game and then when their decks destroy me, I know I've done my job!
this is why i love magic, you can make new friendships while playing, intercations with cards and combos with others and table shenanigans.

What I like about mtg is the variation and the inspiration you get from each time you play and think about your deck
I also like that you get stronger when your friends upgrade their decks but this counts for commander and not standard (what I also play)
I like Magic the Gathering because it gave me a way to connect with my son. I played in the 90s when I was in college, but stopped after I graduated. Recently I was looking for something my son and I to do together. I saw Magic cards at Walmart and that's how I started playing again and connecting with my son.

I enjoy the diversity of personalities, deck constructions, and play styles. I have made a lot of friends through this game since 1995 (when I started playing).
One thing I enjoy from mtg is the community we have created. I love playing mtg with my friends and i love teach the new players how to play!
Magic isn't just a game to develop thinking skills, but to connect with the community to both build decks and make new friends. My favorite part about Magic is when I get to sit down with my friends or some people from my LGS and build/tune a deck. Talking about combos and interactions and having arguments about which card should go in which slot is both very fun and makes people better friends.
What stands out most is the brotherhood. Dude, the fact that we all can connect over paper cards is amazing. From all corners of the globe, and ALL walks of life. That is the TRUE magic.

Just got into magic a month ago (wish I would of started sooner). I love everything about magic the art, the characters and all different ways I've can go about the construction of their deck.

Well what I enjoy the most about magic is the endless possibilities of decks. The fact that we can break rules and not get in trouble is just so much freedom. There's so much I can do with one color but adding in more colors? Just makes it so much more enjoyable
The thing that i love most about magic is that there is not and never will be a deck considered "the best". Whatever decks may be doing well in tournaments can always be beat by any other deck. Your baller on a budget decks really embody this, the cheap and simple decks that can potentially beat those pricey decks
What i love the most about MTG, is how much quality time you can spend with your friends with a friendly game of commander, how instead of fights you can battle it out and squash the beef, I love how much this game brings a lot of people together , me being one of those people, MTG is a lifestyle not a hobby

I love Magic because it had been such a big part of my life and such a major hobby for me ever since I started back during Darksteel. I've met a lot of people who became good friends while playing the game and I have taught a lot of my friends how to play the game. Plus I love your channel bro.
