This is a full complete tour of the Norwegian Star cruise ship. We tour all the public areas of the cruise ship.

This was a nice walkthrough with commentary. We are booked on NCL Star for Iceland and Greenland in June and looking forward to it.
Thanks for the walkthrough. Been on the Star two times, one of my favorite ships, besides Bliss and Encore. Great staff, better food than other ships. Booked again for June 2024 Norway, Spitsbergen and Iceland...
I rode the Star back in 2008 when I was a child, looking back at this ship -- there is no more Slides into the pools, and they modernized the entire deck! I have tons of old photos of what this ship looked liked in 2008, it is insane how much was taken out during the renovation but probably because this ship is nearing the end of its lifespan! Crazy to look at those same red carpet staircases and look back at the old photos of myself standing in that exact spot nearly 20 years ago!
You mentioned (at 11:03) that you were going to provide a link, so we could see a description for all of the specialty and complimentary dining and an explanation of each one. I can't seem to find the link. Can you help?

Wow! I was on the Star in 2016. It looks way different. There are many upgrades that look awesome. The one thing I did like about the pre-retrofit was the stern 12th deck. It felt more grandiose than the retrofit. That being said, I'm a project manager not a cruise ship designer.

Yes, live music at champagne bar/ Gatsby's everying evening. Can be a jazz band, piano player, other musicians. Then piano and sometimes band in atrium, in front of glass elevators. Then you have theater as described in video. DJ in Bliss, music on deck depending on wheather. So a lot of entertainment and live music...

This cruise looks okay looking. I want to try out some of the other cruises.
Unfortunately this cruise had some issues. Because of the reactions to the October 7th terrorist attacks, the stops in Casablanca and Agadir Morocco were cancelled for safety reasons and were replaced with a visit to Portimao Portugal, and a sea day. Furthermore, the Portuguese Harbour pilots were on strike the day that we were going to visit Madeira, so that stop was also cancelled and was replaced with another sea day. The day that we returned to Lisbon also had a pilot strike and our docking was delayed by a couple of hours. this caused some problems with scheduled flights and disembarking was chaotic and some people missed their flights. Other than that, it was quite enjoyable.
