I was rooting for Akuma to win 😭😭😭. Shao Kahn is great but he always loses in the end in Mortal Kombat.
That's more due to the fact that he's the bad guy and the "hero's journey" is a storytelling device that runs the world, but we always have Death Battle who doesn't give a shit about all that.
Because plot demands so. If Raiden wasn't powered up by the Elder Gods in MK9 - Kahn would've won. Again.

Yeah. While Korra can potentially be at the same level as all the previous Avatars who did alot of crazy stuff - Storm's powers can work PLANETWIDE. And they are not limited to simply "make a tornado/tsunami/rainstorm". Plus Korra has always been quite a hothead while Ororo can keep her cool in a tough situation.

The game doesn't explain much but in the Mortal Kombat comic books explains completely about Shao Kahn on how truly powerful he is. He could actually kill one of Marvels most powerful villians, Thanos by 5% and one of the most powerful DC' Villians, Darkseid by 1.5%. Theirs a video explains how truly powerful Shao kahn's powers and abilities and to realize how powerful game characters from Mortal Kombat can truly be. For example when Shao Kahn and Darkseid form as one evil Villian, they have become an ultimate super powerful character. The more souls Shao Kahn takes, the more powerful he gets. Total of souls Shao Kahn has gained calculates 60 billion souls for the pass 10 thousand years...

My most favorite thing was when they made Justice League Gods among us, theirs a storyline about Scorpion killing Trigon at the end and in the DC comics could not Stop Trigon with out the help from Raven and not even Darkseid could stop Trigon.

Dude you're gonna like this. I just found out that Sub-Zero killed Mr Freeze by freezing him.. I know what you're gonna say is, how in the Hell can anybody freeze Mr. Freeze when his body temperature haves to be under 50 below zero degrees to stay alive. But every superhero or villian could only survive a certain cold or heat to survive or handle. Back to Sub-Zeros Bi Han and Kuai Liang freeze could reach down to 6.5,000,000 degrees below Zero, in reality that number doesn't exist not even space or any planets that science discovered could reach too. Not even Marvels X-Men's Ice Man's power could reach that cold. The only person who could slow down Sub-Zeros freeze power is Scorpions Spawn Hell fire. Not even Superman could handle the burn from Scorpions Spawn Hell fire

His anger gets out of control and he is the only one who survive in a battle against bebop and rocksteady and becomes the last Ronin because those two goons finally got the chance and killed Leo, donny, and Raph when those two idiots were always getting their ass kicked by all of them.

I like both characters & I didn't know much about either one so I didn't care who won because I got to see two of my childhood characters fight. Also if they do a MK12 they should add Akuma or someone from Street Fighter as a DLC character.
Storm vs Korra I think Korra is going to win. I know a little bit about Storm but I know more about Korra. So unless Storm has some other abilities I'm unaware of, Korra wins because all Storms attacks Korra can bend them back at her. I'm not sure if energy bending can work on mutants but, if it can work then Korra can just energy bend Storms' power.
Yeah, Korra ain't winning next time. Storm has planetary feats, has dodged Mjolnir (which DB calculated to be 100 billion x light speed), and can cause people to have seizures
Eh, Storm can cover the whole planet with storms on her own and she's an omega-level mutant. Unless they use the Halle Berry version of Storm, Korra's toast.
Sadly you’re wrong storm will completely annihilate Korra. Don’t let the weak movie version of storm fool you. She’s an omega level mutant for a reason. she can control all elements not just lightning, she can create a storm that covers the entire earth, create multiple hurricanes tornadoes tsunamis earthquakes fire storms hail etc. She can create weather in space or planets without an atmosphere, she had to fly to outer space when she heard of wolverines death so she wouldn’t destroy earths entire atmosphere and ozone layer which would’ve caused the earth to perish. she’s also amped by the earth itself iirc it enhances her powers because of her spiritual connection to it. She’s also been called a better god of thunder by Thor, she’s a candidate for the sorcerer supreme too even though she doesn’t practice her magic since she’s scared she will become to dangerous and unstoppable if she fully learned how to use it. Storm is also the leader of all the mutants run in krakow which is Mars cause of how powerful she is. Lastly she is not just an omega level mutant but an actual goddess. This is a brief summary of her character but she has many more feats.

Ranma vs Inuyasha would be fun to see and Ranma vs maybe other shounen characters. I would love to see Ranma vs Inuyasha I think that would be better than the recent Death Battles. But Inuyasha also has great matchups which would be great to see as well. ^_^

Honestly i do not agree with the outcome. Akuma should have won and bodied shao khan to oblivion. This is the same guy who in full power was able to go toe to toe with Asura who mind you is the strongest entity in Asura's wrath to the extent, there was a Jojo's to be continued sign by them. Akuma is to have won this fight. The analysis by deathbattle cast was not well done. I am worried for korra vs storm.
Death Battle typically has really good research but this one was one of the few that wasn't researched thoroughly. I noticed the same thing for it. They didn't even mention Asura's Wrath in the entirety of this video. And knowing that Asura whooped God's and Titans and stuff that are nearly double the size of that one Elder God that was the size of the planet and Akuma went Toe to Toe with him? I'm pretty sure Akuma should've won that.
Once you got hit by the Raging Demon, there’s no escape from that. Shao Kahn gots a hole in his chest and somehow he is stills be able to counter Akuma’s punches in the middle of the Raging Demon, that doesn’t make any sense. Akuma should have won👿
Asura’s Wrath Akuma is blatantly non-canon and takes place in an entirely seperate verse showcasing feats far beyond what Akuma generally does in established canon. They used UDON comics and the games.

This feat isn't from Street Fighter. It's from Asura's Wrath, which isn't cannon. Asura's Wrath isn't even related to Street Fighter. That's the main reason why they didn't include this feat.

Yea the avatar last Airbender continued in its comics. As for the battle tho, deathbattle discredited itself by saying it really comes down to who can deliver the killing blow. That means despite the thousands of years khan has in age, akuma at his best can still best him like any other mortal kombat character has. If we look at it like that then akuma should of won. He is clearly the better fighter as far as technique and dedication to the art of fighting itself. He is god level at full power too which cannot be said about other mortal kombat characters. Its just too inconsistent in the MK universe as far as power lvl is concerned.

It's really weird that they gave Shao all those reality warping feats that he gets by conquering realms, because that's not a power innate to Shao Khan. That's the enchantments/binding terms of the Mortal Kombat tournament. That's why Liu Kang and them are able to stop it by winning the tournament.
