Jewish viewer from London but lived for years in Jerusalem,and other parts of Israel.Seeing your lovely precious video on jew town there brought back to me wonderful memories of my life in Jerusalem,thankyou so very much.I am so touched and grateful that unlike europe India has never persecuted jewish people..Exception being by foreign invaders there under islam at one place and under the portuguese.

In that town you can see oldest mosq in Indian sub continent, oldest synagogue in India...the history hides there. A flood in periyar destroyed that historic town ...it's name was muziris 😢😢😢

Ya this is a place the Iraqi jewish traders came just like the Christian traders but its not a indigenous religion to Indians. The natives were introduced to the these abrahamic religions and some converted. Race wise indian converted Jews are not semites.

@@dinasun3No, jews from Israel settled here. When Portuguese arrived in Kerala they already found out a Christian community and Jewish community. Ancient port of Muziris was a gateway to east.
