I think people don’t realize just how much work went into this show. Rihanna was solo bc not only the time constraint, but she can stand on her own. She did that. Her hand was in everything. From the swag and smirk, to the baby bump reveal, this performance gave what it needed to give. Congrats RiRi!❤❤❤

I think her intention was to make it just enough and leave the audience wanting more! It was PERFECTION! She said in an upcoming interview she hadn’t performed on stage in 7 years- experienced performers want to give their audience QUALITY and not cram a bunch of extra filler with costume changes and scene changes (as much as you can have on a football field). She focused on her art and audiences everywhere were singing right along!! My favorite halftime show yet!!!

...i too danced in and choroegraphed a lot of music videos and commercials...and i am not surprised that BETTE MIDLER complimented the construction of the performance because it was so GRAPHIC and CLEAN VISUALLY....very moving and very confident of RIHANNA....and the sly fashion nod to the late ANDRE LEON TALLEY....moved me greatly....
I like that a pregnant woman is going it solo! I think her performance was clean. Not to busy. Focuses on songs and dancing. Floating stages looks so cool!

It was fantastic...my favorite in recent memory. I think it was the subtleness of it all ..the colors, the stage, the dancers, the songs. I enjoyed it

She was in her prime around that time and part of my middle school years people who weren’t around back then definitely missed out on a FIRE era of music made by her makeup and fashion is her passion and it was her calling sis had a plan and knew how she could become a billionaire while putting smiles on billions of faces😇

Rihanna was epic. She is better than Beyoncé with all her flavors. She doesn’t need to scream, yell, and gyrate. She killed it. She’s got so many different sounds. Epic music. Timeless. She needed no one. She wanted all her time to belt it out for a full 13.99 minutes. Love it. I’ve never listened much, but I’ve watched this one 5 times. I also loved Dr. Dre. That was wild. My two favorite super bowls and of course MJ.

Nothing extra. She did it on her own because she simply could. Rih also had the experience from planning her last few Savage shows with Paris so this dynamic duo knocked it out the park once again. It has been a previlege and honour to witness such magic.
