Guurrrlll . . . . . you are too, too much (in a good way)!!!!! You are so-o-o-o talented! This olive tree is absolutely gorgeous. YES, keep the olives! If you cut them off, it would just be a tree! The olives bring character to the tree!!! I am so excited (can you tell?)! Under $30, too! I bought an almost three-feet (but beautiful) fiddle-leaf fig faux tree for just under $30 and that was a steal. I love (your tree) it’s height, it’s leaves, it’s “olives”, it’s arrangement of branches, it’s coloring!!! Surely, you have seen a real olive tree! This idea is a “keeper”! Blessings.

Olives I think in Greek culture symbolized peace..cool to know historic bkground of projects so it’s not only “ pretty” or “trending” but has meaning and personal significance. We just pulled off with branches which left branches bare. Our faux tree has left on sidewalk outside a store- w/ sorta ugly fake wicker pasket we swapped and the made the moss darker too
Yes that’s actually in the Bible too the dove bringing the olive branch back to Noah on the ark meant the flood was over 🙌🏽🙌🏽

That's so cute!!! I think whether you like the olives or not is up to personal taste, but I can tell you that in winter-time (the harvest period in Italy) the real trees do have loads of olives on them - even more than your tree has, so from that's entirely realistic. The only thing that is maybe not quite as realistic is the colour, because the olives are often a more blue-ish colour, rather than brown when they are still on the tree (they go brown when they fall off). I normally spend about six months a year in a small village in an olive-growing area in Italy - although I haven't been able to go for the past year because of Covid - so I have seen a lot of olive trees in real life. Anyhow, I think your olive tree is lovely as it is! I'm looking forward to seeing the bathroom makeover too! Kindest regards, k

I made mine about a month ago and I'm so happy with the end result. I made mine out of a broken branch that was in my backyard, the only thing that cost me the most was the planter, but I really wanted to get a big and nice one. I spend about $50 bucks. Even my husband wanted to help me make it❤ it was so much fun! Give it a try!!
