God hates divorce BUT He loves the divorcee. His loves never ends. I discovered this after my divorce. I grew up like you and I too have had to learn not to be codependent. I'm glad to see you back. You are still a fabulous designer/decorator and your growth in the Lord is evident. It's a process and even that takes time. Butterflies 🦋 are the perfect example of that. May God continue to bless, prosper, and keep you in His care ☝🏽. Be encouraged 🙏🏽

Therapy opens our eyes over time and lets us become who we are supposed to be. It is so hard growing in our 20-30's while balancing our lives. As long as we grow, we learn what is best for us. You are so talented, gifted, and using that for helping others as well as expressing yourself! Your beauty comes through in your work which is why I have so enjoyed your videos. Our journeys last a lifetime and it seems that you have had a spurt of growth and you will continue on that path. Bless you, for continuing to learn and move forward. I grew up submerged in Christianity. But 1 thing I’m learning is take care of you despite the teachings. Divorce is not the end all be all, there’s so much life after!
Mental health is everything & God wants us to be well & happy. There’s a reason why on planes you have to put oxygen on yourself before helping others. You’re not your best unless you’re pouring into yourself first. So do whatever you need to do to find yourself, continuing loving yourself & maintain peace & joy. Stay encouraged.❤🙏🏽

I applaud you for the journey you have taken because is not an easy one, especially now when you see the world going Godless. I love your beautiful smile so much, I came across your video today, where I am at a really dangerously low point in my life (and yes, watching home make-over videos helps eases the pain) and seeing that smile on your face, gives me new hope. Thank you for your vulnerability, it really does help give hope and peace knowing that I can and will smile again by the grace of God. Continue to take good care of yourself. Also, I am a Christian divorcee, if there is ever such a thing but I do not regret getting out of a marriage that was serving myself and my children no purpose. Much love 💕

Dearest Jasmine... I'm so happy to see you back, still with your bright smile despite your heartache. What a brave video to make, and a brave journey to set out on. I wish I had some wise answers for you, or words of comfort, but I think you have your own path and will find your own comfort in time. I hope it happens soon, and that you are successful in finding yourself and what makes YOU happy! I think in my own case, that has meant having faith, of finding the little treasures to be grateful for in every day, and rebalancing and reassessing every day so that I don't allow myself to descend into the pits of despair, but don't entertain unrealistic or unrealisable fantasies either, but everyone finds their own equally valid ways to serenity I think. I'm sending you a huge virtual hug (oh, and by the way, I have similar self-love issues, and someone told me once that if I wouldn't say or think something with reference to someone else (e.g. "you're not good enough", "you're overweight", "you're not x or y or whatever"), then why would I say such things to myself? We're all equally valuable individuals, so if I wouldn't say it to them, I shouldn't say it to myself. I try to remind myself of that as often as I can (especially when I'm being harsh to myself)... Anyhow, I wish you all the best: you've taken the hardest first steps, you're already on your way - you'll reach a destination that pleases you one day.... And in the meantime, I am delighted to see you back on CZcams. You have a great eye for aesthetics, so if you fancy doing any crafts, I'd be happy to watch, or if you wanted to talk about your outfits (like the super-CHIC outfit in your new intro and banner), or if you wanted to talk about recipes (like good low-cal ones), or whatever you fancied talking about, I would be very happy to watch because you are a relatable and warm-hearted person. Welcome back and I welcome you with positive spirit, mind, body and soul 🥰. Cultivating positivism only harvest positivity (same way goes to the opposite mindset). Teaching, practising and creating firm mental state habits of first and utmost self-love, self-worth, self-care, self-validation, joy, patience, gentleness is the only way to navigate this life (and the other - spiritual) freely, with ease, calm, tolerance, determination, perseverance, resilience, discipline, happiness and confidence. Regardless of stages in our lives, whether at the excellency of moments or to the least pleasant, the downwards. Especially the latter, it is exactly the real test, in which we can fully take advantages on drag ourselves up to splendiferous mode and to not let be carried away into darkness. Positive mindset is the levitation in your moment of gravity. I had moments of sadness, ups and downs as all mortals however, I have never let those moments defeated me. I always believe that dark times cannot last forever (unless we feed them) and we shall perceive it as positive lessons to not let or be repeated.
Thus, trust me, you only build strong intuition, reasoning and wisdom.
With that being said, I "saw" that darkness in you (talking specifically about your marriage) long before your announcement from taking time from this platform ( when your then spouse was announcing his music endeavour and most precisely on the video of his MV shooting day. I remember clearly having a bad vibe...later, it kinda repeated on the cooking video). Maybe, Iam/was wrong since I just 'know' you from the screen but when observing attentively from outside one may catch signs...
Nonetheless, I am quite happy and pleased with your return for many reasons: love your video contents which is much similar to my taste - love for decor, DIY's, re-purposing, thrift-ing; but, above all seeing you so radiant, working on shifting your mindset gears, setting goals, having purpose and loving yourself as the loving human being you seem to be. I wish you all the best Jasmine and may you be blessed in your journey. I know you will find all of your wishes and objectives come to fruition. I was so excited to see that you're back! As a Christian, I get it. I went through a divorce in 1997, 25 years ago. It was the worst thing to go through in my life. People that were my friends, were really not my friends and unfriended me. My marriage was not good. We have three children together. they are now all grown up and we have 8 grandchildren. They are beautiful. My eldest son is a pastor now. I'm remarried and we've been married for almost 21 years. wow, time flies. I'm very happy in this marriage. Too much to say on this topic, but keep sharing the love and light. I look forward to what you do next.
