How To: DIY Wedding Planning Binder: How to | Wedding Planning

- Do It Yourself Wedding Planning Binder!
This is a simple way to stay organized to begin your wedding planning. Here is where I got everything for the binder:
- Binder: Target
- Post-it plastic pockets: Target (also available at Staples or Office Depot)
- Pocket Dividers: Target (also available at Staples or Office Depot)
- Sheet Protectors: Target (also available at Staples or Office Depot)
- Blank calendar sheets were printed off from Windows Microsoft Office - when you select a new document, select "from template" and find the calendar options!
- Wedding Planning Checklist: I printed it from www.theknot.com
You have to create an account using an email address. You will then have access to the list, as well as other useful things, including budgeting tips!
*** Highly recommend TheKnot smartphone app! You can have your wedding planning checklist on the go on your phone!
- The stamp that was mentioned is from www.papersource.com
under the "Personalized Gifts & Products" tab. Select "Custom Stamps" and start personalizing your own stamp!

yes they are very helpful, i got mine from walmart and had it other work sheets and vendors and payments, and linens, and bridal party and ect are great, and to keep all contracts from the vendors and payments and ect, and its great to have.
June 2016 was our wedding.
I'm VERY recently engaged! This was a huge help. I had most of these items accessible to me already so I didn't buy anything, but the organization & ideas were great

Hello! Thank you so much for this video!! I've had a really hard time finding a wedding binder. I found some "fancy" wedding binders at the bookstore but I find them incredibly overwhelming. This looks like it will help me sort through my wedding planning without making me feel like throwing in the towel and eloping! Haha! Do you have a pdf of the wedding checklist from The Knot? I signed up to the site right after watching your video the first time (yes, I have watched this numerous times) but the checklist looks different and for some reason I cant print a "printer friendly" version! Again, thank you so much!!!

Hey, i'm not getting married im not even 16 yet but i am in love with the whole wedding thing and i am planning my future dream wedding now as most little girls have been doing since they were about 5 years old!! Hey i am having difficutly with pritting out the guest list from the Knot. DI you have to type it all out by had or were you able to copy and paste. Copy and paste is no workign for me.

Alina Narr I did relaize that. I dont know whyi wroe that. I ment the check list. When i print the check list, it is all jumbled up. How did you prine the check list. or did you type that by hand.

MaiLife Hello! Coordinating services were $1600 for the rehearsal and 11 hours on the wedding day. Flowers were around $3200 for ceremony, reception, and bridal party.
Alina Narr Noted :) Thanks so much for responding. I have been coordinating and doing flowers for free (for bride friends and friends of friends, because I just truly enjoy it). I wanted to know the rough estimate for such services. I didn't have a planner for my wedding, but my florist was 8k and I was so sure that not everyone would spend that much on just flowers. My wedding was beautiful, but 8k was really steep. I didn't need a planner, if anything, a day off coordinator would've helped. I had a DIY wedding binder similar to yours and it definitely helped. Every time I show a girlfriend who's planning a wedding my binder, they are in awe. I will definitely show them your binder video to show them I wasn't such a "over the top" bride - LOL! It helped gather everything and organize all documents. Thank you for your video, you are helping lots of brides/groom :)
I couldn't have done it without the binder! haha and all of my spreadsheets on Excel! That is what I wish to do, to help other people out there and have a good experience planning such an exciting day! Thank you :)

How big was the binder? 1"?
I would suggest at least 1". If you have a lot of vendors, a 2-inch could be good as well.
