Thanks for this - I'd never thought of separating gates and CV into separate rows. Such a simple idea, and much better than my current 'plug it all in and hopefully sort it out later' approach.
The length of loop is given on both the PNW and PPW in beats rather than bars, so the bass here is a 1-bar loop. I also throw in Euclidean sequences for variation, so the bass might be five triggers in eight steps, the lead thirteen triggers in sixteen say… but if you’re doing that you have to set the same sequence for the appropriate gate.
Hey man seriously could you make a full tutorial of pams pro? I know it would be a long video but how you explain things is really great for a beginner. Everybody else just has everything setup and just starts explaining what they are doing without showing the step by step.
I don’t mind at all - I can do that. Is there anything specific you’d like me to touch one? Also just for future reference - I use she/ her pronouns ❤️not he / him or man! ❤️

I've read of many units with a misaligned screen and always wondered what that looked like or how bad it was. Now I know 😅 Did you contact ALM about it?
@@synthsyouvebeengone really kinda lame that you have to deal with such quality issues for the price of the module. On mine the power cable was installed the wrong way around and apparantly on many others too. Kinda katastrophic for a brand that only produces modules imho
Interesting and useful. Wondering if is there a way to add a CV controller root note before each sequence. The risk with this system is to get into ripetitive melodies without being able to control any melodic parameter.
I’m sure it’s possible to use a CV controller / keyboard but not something I’ve tried myself yet! Is that what you mean when you say CV controller root note?!

I returned my Pams Pro because the screen was crooked, I also contacted ALM and Perfect Circuit and they were both pretty ambivalent about it. They never told me to nudge it with my fingernail, they asked me to send it back and get a replacement, but I pre-ordered it and at that point, it was back-ordered. so lame. Good vid tho!
