Finally Got a Leslie Speaker in 2024! Not just any Leslie Speaker though. This is the Leslie Speaker 910 which is a solid state Leslie Speaker with loads of power!
After having gone through owning a Neo Instruments Ventilator II as well as the T-Racks Leslie Collection by IK Multimedia, I have finally got my hands on a truly great mechanical solid-state Leslie Speaker which is from the 900 series back in the 1970s.
The Leslie Speaker 910 is a 3 speed Leslie which has been modified to accept slow speed on the baffle (low rotor).
This is an added bonus as the original 900 series (excluding the Leslie Speaker 925) were only designed for the bottom rotor to spin on fast only.
I believe the rotary speaker effect is essential for Hammond organs and I am very lucky to now own this wonderful Leslie Speaker 910.
Does 2024 hold any hopes for new rotary speaker effects like a Neo Instruments Ventilator III or the Strymon Lex III ?
