    As a follower of Florian Gadsby - and thanks to his detailed walk-throughs video - I can now appreciate all the finesse behind the throwing on the wheel, and let me say I see so much of it in your work as well :) Keep it up!

      @@judywang8393 Hi Judy, I don't sell these custom ribs, as they are a part of my personal work development. I actually have a video showing the making of one for some other cups. I highly encourage you to try it out coming up with your own measures and designs, it is a fun experiment. Thank you for the support!

    Some Handmade repetion! I like the idea a lot with the wood shape tool! It is sometimes the simple way to make big things! Please, keep repeating, but differently! !)

    Took an intro to wheel throwing class this weekend. Getting it centered on the wheel and level took like 20 minutes by itself 😂

    So impressive. How to you get the width of the rim the same every time??

    • @da_forma
      @da_forma  Před rokem

      Thank you!
      That’s thanks to my throwing gauge (the pointer tool) that allows me to throw the rim to the same point every time, getting an accurate height and width.

      Thank you! I know they seem big here, but the clay shrinks all the way through the process, so in the end they are an adequate size.

    How much clay used and what are dimensions of cup?

    • @da_forma
      @da_forma  Před rokem

      I used 150g of clay. The dimensions where around 6cm high and 6cm wide. The final piece is much smaller though, as the clay shrinks during the process.

    What is the name of the device you use to keep a consistent height?

    • @da_forma
      @da_forma  Před rokem

      It is usually called a throwing gauge. It serves to make consistent height and wideness as well.
      The one I use I made myself and I also sell them on my website, if you’re interested :)
