Just a tip for those doing what she said to the T, twisting in two different directions with spring twist hair can actually cause it to unravel easier bc your not following the natural curl pattern of the spring twist hair. Always wrap to the right never to the left.

Omg I'm SO glad I came across your video! I'm literally trying to fix what I paid a hairstylist to do! I asked for mid back butterfly locs and she gave me shoulder length locs. So I'm now trying to fix them and I've seen several videos where they said to use your thumb and I tried that but they were coming out too messy, and now that I tried that you said about using your index finger my butterfly locs are coming out more neat! I wish I saw this four days ago. I did my butterfly locks but instead of ending them the way you then I rolled all the extra hair up. That made my locs heavy and they all pulled apart. I’m redoing it tomorrow with the hair you suggested and doing it with your technique. Thank you so much!

“ Because I would never do that” PERIODDDD because me either I’m trying to go on vacation this summer and I know I’m late with this video but I’m trying to do some butterfly logs and these girls especially in New York of course we’re pricey and they trying to charge 200 which isn’t that bad but still but 300 and $400 for that look and I want it longer so that’s gonna be $500 right there so you made a very valid point and I love how you explained it and I love how you do it with the passion twist instead of the locks already but am I opinion are you I’m going to do the locks brave boy and just wrap The loose hair around my braid attaching it to the locks but I’m not sure yet but thank you

Omg THAT IS SO PRETTY ! *just a tip* u should comb your natural hair out then put gel on it so it looks slick at the top but other than that I LOVED THE COLOR ON YOU but these locs are giving very much baddie vibes PERIOD !!

I know its not as fun as the locs where u choose the color & length but just wanted to let u know. You couldnt have chosen a better color to wrap the locs with though!
