How do I get the braid pattern

I did my crochet and they looked good on the surface but the braid foundation was not adequate and I was losing locs after a few days due to my braids unraveling in the back. But I know what I need to do next time around , add braiding hair because mine was short and a fine texture in the back. And I didn’t really plan out my pattern like I should have.

Flat twisting is easier you can learn quicker.
You could probably use plaits all the way though

This video is everything!!! The braid pattern and way you added the hair in is perfect. Best part is that middle part!!! It looks so natural and that is the hardest step with crochet locs. People be looking like they got a highway lane through their middle part because they / the installer rushed and didn’t pay attention to that detail. Makes a world of difference. Bravo!! 🎉

I used thr dred style and love ut..but incouldnt used thr crochet needle kept getting stuck in my hair so I used my hands and did my whole head no nails in maybe 30 minutes I breezed through it. I just made sure my braids was alittle loose to get the loc thru, and pull tight wella..I loved it...I did a few colors and it got addictive and than I got tired..I think I try the butterfly style now..love it on u
