Long time a little boy was part of a class that was asked to add all numbers between 0 and 100. After a minute of thinking he wrote down an equation, then computed the value. He had the right answer. Everyone else sat quietly adding. The equation is simple. Let N equal the value, then ((N+1)*N)/2 = 32*31/2 = 16*31 = 496
